18 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Can we pause until we hear from Austria?
18 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: seems like austria will attack me, because without austria you couldn´t get me there :D
18 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Yeah. What Austria will or won't do is irrelevant: we can't have a proper game without a player in Austria, or anywhere else for that matter.
18 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: but you attacked Italy after he was away
18 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Huh? What are you talking about?
18 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Italy had only one unit left. Austria has 7; a radically different scenario.
If you think continuing with an absent Austria will benefit you somehow, you're very, very wrong. Germany and Turkey will expand very rapidly if the Austrian units remain as placeholders.
Let's just vote to pause until we hear back from Austria so that we can continue to have a proper game.
20 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Germany has left too...
20 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hey guys, new Germany.
21 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Welcome. Nice to have you on board.
21 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1907: The game isn´t playable anymore, I´m out.
I will let it on Draw, if you want to draw this game
21 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Eliminate Russia, then draw?
21 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1907: That works for me. Turkey, you can get Vienna next year.
22 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yes. I believe I can.
Nice to see France adamantly refuse to pause to allow Austria to return or be replaced, then quit because the game "isn't playable anymore".
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: you´r so funny, after Italy was gone, you moved with all you can to Italy, then Austria was gone, from this, i would have a big advantage, but i didn´t use it.
Then Germany were gone and you used every advantage you get, then lied you will draw, when Russia is gone, it´s funny how important it is for you to win, but I have no problem to lose ;)
The game is unplayable, when so much players are gone, and people like you conquer empty provinces ;)
Go an play against the AI and don´t forget to cheat to win against it :D
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: We had every chance to replace Austria, or wait until he responded, whichever came first. You refused to do that, so that's why this is how it is. Italy quit with only 1 or 2 units left, and the two of us crashing down on him. That happens, fairly often. It's not a comparable situation. I have posted votes to pause AND to draw or cancel, with no consensus, so here we are.
You quit playing when you lost Tunis. All of a sudden "the game isn't playable". Now, we're going to play to a 3-way draw, which is fair, because the 3 that will share in it are the 3 players who have played every turn.
Thanks for your input. Very valuable stuff. I've really learned.
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: Nice, you think really you´re conquering me, because you´re so good? You´re so cute :)
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: France, if you would simply play, you'd get in on the draw, and everyone's happy. Thus far, you've chosen to bitch endlessly rather than doing what's in the spirit of the game and continuing on with it.
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: I'm still playing... And have every turn.
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: But you have one center that will be gone after this year o_O
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: I don´t need any points or sth. but it´s interesting to watch, how the players how wanted to draw, play on, because there´re provinces for free (what makes no sense, because where´s the fun :P
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: The fun is in eliminating you.
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: oh no :D
22 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1908: I know :)
23 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Are we going to let Russia in on the draw?
23 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: I don't care at this point… if anything, let England either return or CD first.
23 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Agreed.
24 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1909: I'm eliminating Austria and Russia this year, then I'll vote draw.
24 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1909: cheers everyone! happy holidays
24 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1909: You too.
25 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Hey guys,

I'm not confirming this phase in order to "pause" over Christmas day. I don't need a pause, but I need around 15-18 hours, and I don't want to take any chances.
30 Dec 12 UTC So it looks like everyone is only support holding other territories at this point, so how about we bring this game to a draw?
