09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: DouweJan was banned: multi/meta. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: well thats kinda dissapointing....

Wanna draw then we can restart and find another person?
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: wed all gain some points that way
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'm fine with that. I'd much prefer a clean game. I'm holding off finalizing to give more time in case people want to consider this and to get an English replacement if not.
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: I'm OK with either draw or cancel
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: He was my only loyal ally so far NOOOOO lol
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Looks like a consensus is forming, so I'll put in my vote as well
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: excuse me france????
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: True. Sorry Russia you were pretty loyal too but I didnt wanna announce that because ive been talking with Turkey too...
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: lol i dont like u anymore
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: gangnam style?
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Looks like either a draw or 5-on-1 vs. Germany.
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Question - I am in another game - anonymous with no in-game messaging. A global message was posted because of a multi being thrown out. Now I can't clear the envelope icon appearing in a tab. Is there a way to clear that or do I just have to wait for it to go away on its own?
09 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Hey, new England here. How y'all doin'?

You do indeed have to wait for the game to end to get the message to go away.
10 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Idea, lets all draw. Scince theres a new englad theres more pot. we can all gain like 35
11 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Except for me, I would lose points.
11 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1903: no you would gain. you bet 40 and theres 6 people. and a 418 pot
11 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1903: He should have bet more than 40. Its been a while since I tried to calculated it, but I think it would have been more like 65.
11 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I bet 98, it says right there at the bottom.
11 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Doh!!!
11 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1903: oh damn. 95 wow..
11 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Yeah, the system is designed so someone can't just join and draw for free points.
11 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: "I bet 98, it says right there at the bottom."

Reminds me of when I visited my teachers house. His son was there showing off his little plastic animals. He told us one was a Allosaurus. We asked him how he knew it was that and not a T. Rex expecting him to point out the number of fingers or some other minor detail only a 6-year-old or a paleontologist would know. Instead he said "Its printed right here by the nose".

Never overlook the obvious.
14 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Long time player, brand new on this site, took a modest position to try to figure a few things out. The "dollar value" is different.
15 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1904: well welcome. must say though that it wasnt to smart to take over germany.. but hey. im just as bad right xD welcome to the site
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Is anyone going to be angry about a 4 way draw between England, Turkey, Austria and Me?
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Italy, Russia, Germany, and maybe England.
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Kind of looks to me that it is headed that way no matter what.

I'm all for ending the game as quickly as possible. My only interest is in getting enough points to stop playing newbee games that have players who don't drop the first time things don't go their way.. I had an account with 800 points in it, but somehow it was lost and I had to start over.
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: What was the account?
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'd even be willing to make a 5-way tie after the Autumn build. By my calculation though England looses 10 points on the deal so he may not be up for it.
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Indeed he is not.
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: I played under ldrut, but used zardoz2525 for all my other game accounts and just wanted to keep the same handle everywhere. I asked for them to just rename my account, but my emails were never answered.
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm in for a 4 way.
19 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Still doubt England is, though that is at least a small profit for him.
20 Oct 12 UTC Spring, 1905: Can you guys at least hold off until Italy's gone? If we have a stable stalemate at that point, I'm fine with drawing, but if France and I (mostly France) have crossed the line, or if somebody has stabbed, I'd like to play on.
20 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Actually, I'm in for a 5way as well. I think Italy deserves a share having survived until now.
20 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Again, that means I lose points, so definitely not doing that.
31 Oct 12 UTC You were offered a 4-way draw when France was your ally, but you refused. France realized that meant he would probably get eliminated, so he changed sides. He helped us, why should we turn on him?
31 Oct 12 UTC I don't understand his hatred for a draw involving me now. I have done just fine in this game? If anyone stands to eliminate me from play it's Turkey, not you England. You have almost no chance of taking anything from me.
31 Oct 12 UTC France, I moved my units toward you when I did to ensure that you couldn't do serious damage to me, as it looked like you were stabbing. How is it my fault that you decided to ignore my message telling you I would be doing so and then declared war on me?
31 Oct 12 UTC So what do you propose I do about it?
31 Oct 12 UTC Be better in the future.

I'm voting draw now because I've lost my chance to solo, and thus I have no incentive to continue the game (narrowing a draw for the sake of narrowing the draw is stupid and cruel). If Austria or Turkey wants to continue, they can go ahead.
31 Oct 12 UTC "narrowing a draw for the sake of narrowing the draw is stupid and cruel"

Didn't you already do that? Both Turkey and I wanted to do a 5-way draw with Italy back on the 20th since I+A+T together had a 19-center stalemate line. England was the only no vote since you wanted to eliminate Italy first. It is only because you refused that Italy was eliminated then France changed sides.

Don't go complaining that something is "stupid and cruel" just because someone is doing it to you not you doing it to someone else.
31 Oct 12 UTC I would add: I do not know how and what you communicated with each other, but as a third party the English stab against France was in the air for a while and it happened exactly the same turn as Italy went out. You made the first move against Bel, and you kept attacking as France was clearly redeploying forces to the Med.
I don't even think you realisticly wanted thought you could solo (gain each french center including Rom and Tun). You wanted a 3 way. Now a 3 way seems possible.
31 Oct 12 UTC Turkey, I moved to Bel and Eng that year because France had built a fleet in Brest without warning, and then moved it to Eng without warning. I warned him that I would be making his moves to ensure that there was no funny business, as I was expecting a stab, and he vacated Belgium anyway. He then sent me an angry message that served as a declaration of war.
01 Nov 12 UTC Good game everyone, congrats on survivng. With one votes for the draw and two undecided the game ends in a four way draw. Thanks for my allies for the cooperation and the stuff I learned from them.
01 Nov 12 UTC Because you took Brest. lmao. you not only pushed me out of the channel you also attacked Brest after that.
01 Nov 12 UTC It was fun though guys. Thank you for the draw.
01 Nov 12 UTC I took Brest in Autumn 1906, you told me that I could "face all 3 of [you]" in Autumn 1905.
01 Nov 12 UTC Isn't lying supposed to be part of the game. Statements mean nothing, only actions.
