Postal Game
There was a postal game organized on here a couple years ago that I really enjoyed. If there's interest in it doing it again, I'd love to organize one.

Couple weeks for each turn, communication only by postal mail.

Arson = socially progressive
I realized that based on the cultural constraints of the criminal justice system that burning things represents the circle of life. If a forest burns down - it comes back stronger. We burned down Atlanta, it came back way cooler look at the Falcons. We accidentally burned Chicago, now its great. Lets just burn the world.

A discussion on Morality and Virtue (Paladins, Clerics)
What is the difference between a Lawful Good Cleric and a Lawful Good Paladin. Which is more unrelenting in their beliefs? Which is more likely to have sex? Are both bound by vows of celibacy? Are Lawful Good Paladins more likely to engage in religious persecution (ala Knights Templars).

Official Webdip Announcement: New Website and Forum Coming Soon
Hi all, after nearly a year of work on this, we are about ready to push our new live website and forum. Thank you to Kestas, jmo, the mod team, and others for working hard on this. We are hoping to push the new site out within the next few days. Merry Xmas, ho ho ho!

Well, we are hoping to do it within the next 24 hours but these things may end up taking a bit more time as we get closer to full implementation, so I didn't want to say 24 hours and then it takes 36 or 48. But we are trying to get there as soon as we can while making sure we have most things ready to go. I am sure there will be a learning period for all of us and some things will need to be fixed or updated after we go live.

How does the old forum work with the mobile site? I guess we get to find out. But I didnt think it looked all that... compatible with this format. The old forum seems a bit more malleable to this screen oreintation

I dont really understand how hard the work you guys are doing is. Keep in mind. I just meant the phbb page with the new forum looks like it wouldnt be compatibke with the current mobile display. I was curious if the forum will have a different appearance than the rest of this current format

I guess the new forum won't be immediately "mobile" because it was not live when the mobile styles were introduced.
Anyway phpbb system is quite friendly to new theme/styles, so it won't be that hard to adapt it to mobile later.

It's just a new forum, but the new forum is basically a stand alone site wrapped into our site with connection code. So what he said was right...just not super clear.

Ghug is right more than what I said. It's a new forum, but the front page will also reflect the forum change and we will have a slightly different PM system. So it's kinda of a new site but some features and layouts will remain familiar to most users. The new forum, however, will be more conducive to Diplomacy related stuff.
