When you say family, how many generations are you talking about? Does that include siblings? Are inlaws also considered family. Please define the term. I'll hold my +1 until I have clarification. My personal definition includes all living relatives, but that may be harsher than you intended.

I feel that if we were to include inlaws it may only serve as motivation to misbehave, so it would probably be limited to third cousins and closer.

At first blush this idea seemed an overreaction, but damn it would actually smooth things out quite nicely. A pax modulus if you will.

What about future generations?

When you say future generations, do you mean future generations of mods or offenders? I believe future generations of mods should have the same powers as the current generation.

I believe the mods already have the power to kill the user's family. What they lack is the instructions, training, and possibly willingness to carry out that power. Perhaps we can raise funds for them to spend a few weekends at a gun range, sign them up for an intensive brainwashing course to bring out their violent side, and slip steroids into their food. That would probably accomplish their goal. Before we agree to this, I would want warning so I can ask the mods to remove all vestiges of my account from the site and give me time to enter witness protection before their indoctrination begins.

Mod bootcamp?

I mean, I don't think the mods would ban me and come after my family now, but after they've been brainwashed and are experiencing roid-rage? They might ban me and slypupicide my kin just for suggesting how to accomplish this in the first place.

We've already got drones. What could possibly be the benefit to doing it by hand?

I feel like if I didn't build this when I was a mod, I'm probably not building it now.
