Why do Chaqa and ND get a vote that matters while I have my choice between Indiana, one of the most red states, and Illinois, one of the most blue states?

Oh yeah, the Electoral College. Right.

To be fair, DO, global warming was going to be created in no small part by the Chinese (industrialization) anyway. The only difference is the "hoax" part.

Well, that and Trump trying to compete with the Chinese in creating global warming. Oil, gas, and coal on the agenda. (But it's "clean" coal. Yeah, and he'll save so much money from not working on climate change with the international community, you're not gonna believe it. He'll use that money to give our environment a facelift. #ContractWithAmerica2016)

I guess for conservatives, there's nothing really wrong with raping a 13 year old is there? I mean why should a guy go to prison for that. If your rich enough, they just let you grab their pussies.

Rape has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with rapists. See, if I phrased what you said differently, you might find it a little bit upsetting. Let's try it:

Funny, rapists tend to be men.

Here, let's try another one. This time, I'll be more hyperbolic:

Funny, murderers tend to play for the Florida Gators.

Of course, with a quick Google search, you can find that some rapists do in fact tend to be men. Likewise, with a quick Google search, you can find that some murderers do in fact happen to have played for the Florida Gators. Contrarily, you can also find that some rapists happen to be women, and that some rapists actually played for the USC Trojans. At this point, you might begin to wonder - what does any of this have to do with rape?

Obviously, to those whose minds have not been infiltrated by the Order of the Solar Temple (if anyone here is a member of the Order of the Solar Temple [and has not yet committed mass suicide], I apologize if you find this offensive), none of this has anything to do with rape. As a matter of fact, for every murderer that played for the Florida Gators, you can find a thousand incredible people that played for the Florida Gators whose life work has unquestionably benefited thousands more people. When you look at the USC Trojans, you might bypass the story of O.J. Simpson and turn instead to this one:

https://news.usc.edu/70140/former-football-star-turns-a-setback-into-success/

To top it all off, for every male, female, left-wing, right-wing, white, black, in between, or whatever characteristic you like rapist or murderer out there, you can find a million people who share that same characteristic who have done more good for the world than you or I could ever achieve in our wildest dreams. It is almost as if good outweighs bad, light outshines dark, and compassion overrules hatred. Is that preachy enough? Out of the ashes of all the terrible things in the world - ...you get the point.

As such, when you say that "rapists tend to be of the liberal mind set" or when some unnamed President-elect says that a certain demographic of people are composed primarily of "rapists and murderers" - but some of them, I am sure, are good people - what you are doing is taking a crime, horrific as it gets, and using it as an object for your agenda rather than treating it as the horrific-as-it-gets crime it is. For example, whether Bill Clinton is a rapist or not might be up in the air, but there is no reason to claim that he is a "liberal rapist," as if being liberal is part of what makes him a racist - you know, the adjective is a descriptor and all. Whether Aaron Hernandez is a murderer or not does not have anything do with the football team he played for in college. In a sense, implying that that is the case is similar to racism, sexism, classism, or whatever -ism you like in that they involve attributing certain behavior to an unrelated characteristic of one's life.

So before you reply, acknowledge for me that rapists tend to be men, and I will acknowledge that I have no idea if rapists tend to lean left or not, but it is possible. Likewise, acknowledge that one's political leanings do not incite rape, and I will acknowledge that being male does not incite rape either. This shouldn't be a difficult task.

There's a difference however: in China people do believe that globarl warming is an issue. Maybe that's because Chinese gov. just can't hide the effect that pollution is having on chinese people health. Anyway, today most demonstrations of chinese people have ecologist demonstrations and governement is being forced to make something (maybe not enough, but consider it's not easy to govern and keep clean a country with 1300000000 people with growing purchase power)
CAPT Brad (40 DX)
11 Nov 16 UTC
between the 'c' and the 'p' there is a lot of 'ra' and it all flows downhill. and bo you are correct, sexual assault has no political philosophy. for those who pin that to make their political argument miss the point. we should be mindful of the hurt and pain that causes. it does frost my glass however when that is the lead reason to trash a political candidacy, especially when there are more important things to discuss.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
11 Nov 16 UTC
Okay, you got me. Clearly, because political leanings do not influence one to commit crimes such as rape and sexual assault, we should not hold crimes such as rape and sexual assault against political leaders, since it has nothing to do with their politics. Duh. How could I be so naive and stupid to think that holding rape and sexual assault against a political leader, especially a President, is reasonable? I should grow into a man and get over it, you're right.

same with Clinton slandering Bill's rape victims. It's not act bad as the act itself, but an enabler, who after the incident, coldly and logically made a decision to slander someone who just went through a serious trauma.

Neither is moral. one is crazy, one is cold. that's where i see the difference

That's where most Trump supporters will point to.

I blame Abraham Lincoln
He screwed over the south's economy without granting them an alternative, devastated their homeland and subjugated them to the union. There's no coincidence that these people's descendants elected Trump today. They have been disenfranchised and alienated and economically subjugate since before 1860. We are paying for the sins of our fathers.

The union should've bought the slaves' freedom the same way Britain did.

To Americans
Learn from this mistake. When given a chance to elect someone like Bernie again, do it. Don't go for the person that's a part of the establishment. It could've been Bernie getting ready for his victory speech now. You threw that chance away when you LET the establishment decide Bernie wouldn't win. Learn from this mistake so that you don't make it again. Better luck next time.
