Glass Eating: What is your favorite glass eating experience?
Im looking to get into competitive glass eating. Was wondering if anyone on webdip has done this and what the best venues are for glass eating.

You may not realise it, but you probably eat glass quite often. The seasoning salt you get at fast food joints contains a free flow agent, as they call it, made of silicon dioxide, which is basically a glass, ground very fine.

Finely ground glass? When the customers irritate me they get some rough chopped shards of it!

Well, you could call SiO2 you find in seasoning "glass" just as you could call Carbon a diamond, but you wouldn't want to propose with a lump of graphite.

fun fact: glass tastes like blood, for some reason.

6.5/10. 7.5 with rice.

Not sure on venues, but glass eating can be pretty hard on your throat at first. I recommend starting out by placing the glass between slices of asbestos, like a sandwich. After you get comfortable with that, make the slices gradually smaller until you reach just the raw glass.

So the thing about glass eating is that the vast majority of glass eaters do not ever get injured - in fact, only one mass slicing happened in the past fifty years due to glass eating. Despite this, there's a widespread campaign to stop kids from being able to eat glass. I think we all need to stand together and say enough is enough, and let the kids eat glass.

Sure, the occasional nibble on the edge of an organically blown glass does no harm to anyone. But until we have the properly regulated industry that legalisation would bring, glass eating is too much of a gamble. It's often not the glass itself, but the impurities that causes the harm. Disreputable street glazers often mix their products with high quantities of toxic lead, and the current craze for Dutch Tears that's plaguing the lives of young people in the club scene is all too often swept under the carpet.

Regulating and legalizing glass eating will encourage more young children to do so despite the risks. It's tacit approval from the government and should not be done. We need harder, minimum sentences for both peddlers of glass and those who eat it.

Minimum sentences are just a way for the government to keep an unjust strangle hold over an entire culture. Glass eating is in no way inherently different than sand snorting or any other manner of amorphous solidifying, but one of them has much harsher punishments. It's wrong.

I've heard stories of police breaking into the wrong house and eating the glass that the dog was meant to eat. It's very depressing.

Glass eating should be considered a mental disorder. I'm not a glassphobic, because I'm not afraid of glass eaters. I'm just strong willed enough to see that it's immoral, irrational and against the plastic eating that we all know and love.

NEW ENGLAND PLAYER WANTED FOR WWI TEAM GAME!
England has gone into civil disorder so we need a new English player. This is a team game where the allies (Britain, France and Russia) fight the axis (Germany, Austria and Turkey).. England has missed a couple of phases but is still in a good position. The game ID is 179879. It is called "World War One team game". The password for the game is "shellshock". Once you have joined have a look at the other thread on the forum called "WWI team game" to get familiar with the rules.

New World War I team game - played as 2 teams. Starting soon!
I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I'm not sure if it's been done before. Apologies if it's already been done. I've created a game called "WWI team game" and the idea is that we will recreate world war one by playing the game as 2 teams; the triple alliance consisting of Austria, Germany and turkey and the triple entente consisting of England, France and Russia.

NWO: Mushroom clouds forecasted in coming year.
The NWO game at Redscape is about to get a bit radioactive. If you haven't seen or played this massive variant, take a look. The GM and a few players put out some high quality press as well.

I'm working on a project (may submit it to a zine, may just be for my own amusement) and I'm trying to find out what various Diplomacy communities view as the relationship in accomplishment between draws and solo victories.
