I got an email saying it was going to expire, saying "If you’re still a student, please verify your student status using this form before August 22, 2015 to maintain your Amazon Student membership and renew your Amazon Prime membership at the discounted rate of $49/year (for up to four years.)"
but when I go and follow the link it says "Thank you for your interest in the Amazon Student program. Unfortunately, we are not able to review late appeals at this time. If you feel we may have missed something, please reach out to us at
[email protected].
On Jul 13, 2014 your Amazon Student membership ended and you no longer qualify for the $39 discounted Amazon Prime rate. You will continue to receive the FREE Two-Day Shipping benefits and Prime Instant Videos that you enjoyed while you were a member of Amazon Student and we have charged your credit card $79/year."
so mid August they say I need to renew by Aug 22nd, but when I try it says it expired in July!?
Which only adds to my confusion.
So I emailed asking them to clarify and the next day I got a new email saying it would be renewed (which of course is half contradicted and half upheld by various parts of my user info as above), so maybe that's it?
I'm not asking for compensation...just clarity...
