Game of Thrones episode leak
Generally, I'm not the kind of a player who post on the forum, let alone start a new thread. (Although I do read almost all). This time I can't contain my excitement . 4 episodes of Game of Thrones season 5 has been leaked online and I am in a dilemma. I would want to watch those ASAP, but legally. At the same time it would be impossible to avoid spoilers for a month. Any insights on this?

Team 1768 makes it to the World Championships!

Most Ridiculous BS That TV Audiences Believed
What are some hilariously ridiculous things that television (and newspaper) fans actually believed? Here are some good ones off the top of my head that fit into this summary:
1. CNN says Isis lures western girls with nutella, emojis and kittens
2. Gadafi was giving viagra to his troops for his raping campaign
3. The Iraqi army while at war decided to make stopovers at hospitals to throw babies out of incubators and let them die on the the floor

a question about bulgaria
On my board Bulgaria has an east coast and a south coast. On this site it has a north coast. How did this come to be? Thank you.

I don't have an official answer, but dollars to donuts its just to make the coding and mental visualization easier for when kestas first programmed it. Coasts were one of the last and hardest things to be gotten right, and there's still a bug or two (although these bugs are visual/previewmode, not gameplay affecting, shouldn't/doesn't affect actual gameplay, don't blame me for orders not working, I shouldn't have said anything).

Because STP has North/South, and diametrically opposed coasts is somewhat more cognitively pleasing and obviously separate, it's a small jump just to call the Bulgarian coasts North/South as well.

For the F STP(sc), even though it was disbanded, and the Spring map shows it was disbanded last winter, it shows up on the Spring Moves Preview map. Very rare, non-harmful instance, but since I discovered it it's somewhat on my mind as an immediate observation about how handling coasts in adjudicators/programs is non-trivial.

There's a special .txt just for discussing how phpDip handles coasts (http://webdiplomacy.net/doc/coasts.txt) and they appear in the Gotchas as well. Like I said, non-trivial.

My favorite bug (feature?) is the "Poland Express". The looks on people's faces when you sail your fleet through a canal they didn't know existed...

Even then, it's rare to see it utilized. This is in part because the only territory it touches that would strategically serve a fleet is Iran, and that's only on the south coast. Maybe to support something to Volga, but that's the only real purpose I see in that sea. That general area is large enough to serve far better with only armies.

I think the Caspian Sea would be a bigger deal if you couldn't build anywhere. Then, suddenly, convoys are much more important, and the Caspian offers some neat convoying opportunities.

Caspian Sea is a corner case territory to be sure. But if you get a fleet there, you pretty much control the Caucasus region. It's highly unlikely another player will have a fleet in the area so you can support freely without it being cut. Cracking Iran is a good way to defeat Egypt.

South America Variant
I have no friends. So between my mom and dad and two siblings we play the 5-player South America map. I searched "Diplomacy South America Strategy" and only get Risk results. I am always the first to lose and my parents laugh every time and tell me to make myself useful and do the dishes while they enjoy a game with their real children. Any help?
