Knowing that I am going to lose this contest makes me hesitant to even try to write a long sentence that will surely be shorter than many, but I wonder if the others will actually be grammatically correct, or will prove to be "run on" sentences, which we should be sure to remove from the contest, because I feel strongly that such submissions are not sentences at all, and I hope that others will be supportive in combating "run on" sentences that are known to not only be in direct opposition to everything your English teacher taught, but are also futile attempts at immortalizing one's authorship at the expense of the reader, who is "oh, so important" in a contest whose main goal is to decide which person has longest single sentence dissertation, yet fails to truly engage the reader in a truly eloquent fashion worthy of praise and awards that we all know are meaningless in a contest such as this, so I challenge the writers who follow to not only write the longest sentence, but also to write something that is truly meaningful to this forum and the reader, for I fear that some "wanna be" coder is going to find a way to use a script to create sentence, rather than take the time to actually write a sentence with their own wit and creativity, which would win the contest, yet prove to be a sour grape in an otherwise enjoyable contest that engages members to spend more time on this forum performing a task that neither furthers the dream of a peaceful and prosperous humanity, nor helps someone learn something that is truly beneficial to their life or family, but hopefully at least brings about a sense of release from the stresses of life by helping the writer and the reader think about something that really and truly means absolutely, positively nothing, except who has the longest rant or rave, which, I fear, may in the end be posted months from now, because that is how long it took to write a sentence that not only filled the maximum length allowed by this forum software, but also filled the maximum space available on the hard drive where this forum's database resides.
