Ideally, players would have completed at least a few games on this site to demonstrate their commitment to sticking with games. We'd all agree to: (1) submit orders for every phase in a timely manner and (2) to ready up (i.e., click the ready button) whenever possible to keep the game moving along. I realize that sometimes all of us need extra time, but if you're a player who likes to take the full phase length every time, this wouldn't be the game for you.

I'm thinking phase length would be 1 day, and bet would be 25ish, but I'm open to anything between 5 and 50. If you're interested, post below or pm me.

Always in for a gunboat with reliable players

I'll play as long as you confirm reliability before letting someone in, which it looks like you're doing anyway.

I would like to play such a gunboat game, I would not mind an 18 hours timer either. Bet range is fine with me.

This is a great idea. I've had too many games go weird because of CDs in multiple nations.

@bo_sox: yes, I plan to look at everyone's profiles to determine reliability. As long as we don't get a ridiculous number of responses, I should be able to do that and set up games tonight (in about 10 hours).

I think this would be fun, CDs and NMRs can change the game way too much, and I'm definitely interested. Would it be PPSC or WTA?

I have zero NMRs and zero CDs. The CDs on my profile are only due to being shuffled around games for the GB tournament, and that's onto due to the TD putting me in the wrong games to start.

@bihary: The title of this thread has to do with low-pot gunboats, so if that's what you wanted to recruit people for, using this thread would make sense. For other sorts of games, though, you'd probably get a better response by posting a separate thread or starting a more general one.

I hope to get on organizing this in a couple hours. Anyone else interested? I haven't looked at reliability ratings yet, but I'm guessing we have enough people for 1.5 games. Would any of the previous respondents be interested in being included in more than one game?

santcacaris, I would be willing to play more than one game. I actually have 79 , not 29, because I'm currently in a couple pre-games that are unfilled. So buy in should be no problem
