BB I'm kind of astonished that you're using this forum as a support for mental health, but if it works for you I won't argue! And I apologize for some of the uncharitable things I thought but didn't say while reading your threads...thanks for reminding me that we don't really know what each other are going through.

Post stuff like this here anytime! I've had several family members who've gone pretty far down the rabbit hole, and 9 days is a great accomplishment!

Well I will be honest she wasnt able to stay sober. We broke up. Im gonna go this path, and move on. She was verbally abusive to me saturday so im done.

I can tolerate alot but emotional and verbal abuse are not my thing. I got better ways to spend my lofe than trying to fix someone else.

Thanks all for the kind words. Perhaps a kinder, more reasonable bb is all the forum needs to be alibe again.

I'm almost tempted to plus one your post JamesYanik, it's wonderful to see such support for a Dipbro from a variety of members from across the political figures etc. In my state in a wealthy "Western style" democracy, mental health problems are surprisingly high..suicide rate slightly higher than road fatalities as an example. The problems of ice/ meta amphetamines etc.& gambling.
Sounds like you've made some tough decisions Brainbomb, and are a single man again and a sad heart for a falied relationship. Use the poetry Brainbomb, that sounds excellent, a private way to get stuff out. Writing is good. Consider getting out into different places, new, with pack of pencils of all colours, sketchbooks & A4 240 page note book & plenty of water & fruit and spend time writing and drawing, exploring new places.. find some beauty to appreciate and happiness for yourself that way ?
And definitely avoid the booze Dipbro. Poetry and drawing instead please Dipbro and reach out to friends. Look at the support you have here from the Dipbro's & Dipsister's.

Almost 24 hours without a drink!! Failed happily. Enjoy your sobriety, and keep an eye out for the latest dipgames podcast. Amby and I interview the reigning champion of 1v1 from vDip, plus talk about other diplomacy related shit. Whenever I do a stint of being sober I always try to have things to DO.

It takes a lot to accomplish what you have brainbomb. I read your posts all the time but largely refrain from commenting. I've seen enough people let their lives fall apart over vices to last a life time. It takes true courage to change from within and I think you making the hard choices so you can be happier speaks volumes on your character. Much respect. Every additional day is a victory mate.

Surrounding yourself with friends is always a good way to combat a rough day. Sounds like you're making the right choices that work for you and that's what counts.
