"Lol, krellin, public higher education should be free."

I live in California, where ~20% of UC admissions are to Chinese nationals. Why should American citizens be paying for the tuition of Chinese nationals. Moreover, many people CHOOSE to start their careers early and become entrepreneurs. Why should they be paying for college when they never received the same benefit?

"Yeah, someone has to pay for it. We all pay for it. Instead of going out for a steak dinner on our anniversary, we go get burgers instead."

And why the fuck should anyone be forced to do that. If taxes are so high that people can't afford to eat steak on their anniversary, that would be truly shameful. Socialism is an exercise of shared poverty. As Deng XiaoPing said to justify opening China to the free market, "to get rich is glorious!" The point is, there is no reason for me to sacrifice my standard of living to pay for others to go through college, which is a choice, and to pay for lazy welfare scum.
