It seems like a setup that is awfully precarious.

2NK's could see the town gone by D3, essentially. Two mislynches and maf only killing townies each night make it 3v3v8. That's already unwinnable for town. Its just a matter of which mafia team wins it.

In my experience, most mafia deaths happen by mafia team cross killing.
Multi is still fun. Just more yolo.

I'll play it as a new game and win but it's not mafia.

It would be a shorter game than this one - I'd be keen to try out a multi mafia setup.

What about 14 town vs 6 third parties?

N1 2 town NK's = 11/3/3
D2 ML = 11/3/3 > 10/3/3
N2 2 town NK's = 8/3/3
D3 "mylo" : 8/3/3 > 7/3/3

...sure, if both mafias and town consistently kill town and not each other, it's terrible. On the other hand, I'm thinking the maf teams will need to start some scumhunting of their own, because long term the other team (and their NK) is a big threat. Seems like they'd want to prioritize NK'ing off the other team, and using town lynches as a buffer. 14 vs 3 vs 3 isn't the same thing as 14 vs 6. The best part is that *everyone* is going to have to scumhunt for real during the day. Mob A still wants to lynch scum, just... not their own team.

I think this setup is going to make scumhunting a lot harder though because mafia doesn't have to make fake cases. Lots of reactions I guess. Hopefully there's some decent PRs.
