Clearly everyone complaining about that stuff would rather see useless scenes where everyone just sits around during travel doing nothing of interest.

Episode 9 was amazing. I literally asked myself if it was a better fight that they had in Braveheart. It wasn't, but a TV melee competing with the best Film is a damn good TV show.

When they land, the Dornish will ally with them, against cersei, cuz cersei just killed all of their families etc

Great technique for showing time pass, or traveling over distances.

Everyone is complaining about Arya teleporting, but there is no reason to assume everyone's stories are progressing at the same pace. Varys on the other hand, i have always suspected had magic powers...

each episode covers weeks or even months, thus people can travel

Jon/Sansa going to house mormont in bear island?? That's months of travel, easy.
watching travel is boring, so they make quality tv instead of a travel show

If you look at the sails of the ships in the final scene, many have the three headed dragon or the kraken, but there are also the rose of Tyrell and the sun of Martell represented. The whole team, it would seem, is already together.

There were ships from Dorne and the Reach there too with the Greyjoy and Targaryen fleets. Basically:

- The ships Theon and Yara brought
- The ships they captured from the slavers
- The ships Dorne sent
- The ships The Reach sent

Good season overall. I dislike some of the Hollywoodish "just at the last second" stuff, but I suppose it adds to the drama. By that, I mean:

What if the knights of the Vale had arrived five minutes later? It's a long way from Moat Cailin. They still would have beaten Ramsay, but what if Jon and his forces had been wiped out already? Good thing the knights arrived just in time.

What if Lancel had managed to crawl a little faster and snuff out those three candles? Cersei sure would have had a disappointing view of nothing. Why even risk bringing Lancel near the wildfire? That kid could have shivved him down any dark passageway. Good thing the wildfire ignited just in time.

What if Ned were so distracted by Peeping Bran's spectral presence that he was delayed in getting up the Tower of Joy in time to talk to Lyanna?

Heading into season 7, it seems like Cersei is hopelessly outnumbered. Lannisters vs. Everyone isn't very compelling. Euron probably joins up with her. Maybe Littlefinger swings the Vale forces that way too. After all, Dany on the throne is inconsistent with his Petyr + Sansa dream.

I think Bran crossing the Wall is what will trigger the WW attack, using the same logic as why the WW could attack the Three Eyed Raven's hideout. There were protective spells, but because Bran was touched by the Night King, they don't work anymore.

After the first couple of episodes, the situation at Pied Piper devolved into sitcom mundanity. I really enjoyed the Hooli arc though.

I think Daenerys is going to the right place with the wrong reason. The season ended with an emphasis to the fact that John Snow is the son of Robert Baratheon and thereby the rightful King, under the rule of succession. So in this regard, I expect a conflict between Sansa and Snow against Lannisters. I think Daenerys's dragons are the anti-thesis of the Night King's army.

Everybody thinks Lannisters have no chance, but they forget something. Cersei has shown us that she is ready to take drastic measures to maintain her power. Especially after the events of the last episode of season 6. This makes her a natural ally of the Night King because the new King of the North is actually sandwiched between Lannisters and the dead walkers.

Exactly from where the Mother of Dragons attack is not certain but if we assume that she was on boat with all of her army, She must have collected the Dornish ships from the South and going right to the Blackwater Bay to attack the Kings Landing, rather than liberating cities one by one or meeting with the 'new' King in the North...

My advise to Cersei is sticking with the Night King but getting ready to backstab him on the right time. Because the Night King is a furious player who wants all the SCs in Westeros and perhaps even in Essos and paint them white. Thereby he is likely to backstab her sooner or later, unless, of course, they somehow get involved and Cersei turns into white walker and together they happily torture humanity forever. After the last episode I expect everything from Cersei, even ruling the world as a white walker xD

Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen, not Robert Baratheon. He has a claim to the Iron Throne based on the Targaryens being the rulers until the Rebellion, the same way Dany does.

Having a claim on that silly chair means nothing, you either have the cunning and strength to seize it or you die

This would look much more structured if they didn't intentionally confuse it, like put all the starks on the left, all the targaryns on the right, all the Lannisters at the top, all the people who took part in roberts rebellion at the bottom... Very bad design, unless the intention was to obscure information and show how complicated the show is. (Misleading by pretending their is more complication than there is??)
