Autumn 2004 Russia F Ukr - Pol ???
How is it possible for a fleet to move from the Ukraine to Poland over land? There is no mention of any water way in the map variant or elswhere. Impossible move in my opinion. It would seem you are now allowed to move fleets from the black sea to the baltic???

The USA paid a huge price to put a flag there! Without the patriotic feeling behind the space effort, I doubt that there would have been a man on the Moon by now, so the question is moot.

Would an earth flag or a UN flag have been better?
Gobbledydook (1389 D(B))

I would totally support a claim on the sovereignty of the Moon by the US based on the 'finders keepers' rule.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
25 Sep 15 UTC
Because finders keepers totally applies to the person who goes there first, not the person who sees it first. It belongs to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan because the people of Mohenjo-Daro were the first people to explicitly record that they did in fact see the moon.
Gobbledydook (1389 D(B))
25 Sep 15 UTC
Unlike the Americans, they did not exercise their right to keep. The Americans were the first to actually get there.

"Because finders keepers totally applies to the person who goes there first, not the person who sees it first. It's a rebuttal and he's right to rebut it. His point is that finders keepers clearly doesn't apply at all. I'm pretty sure he doesn't really think those countries have the right to exploit the moon.

Question: Is the flag still there? Has it been spotted since the 60's?
if it's still there, it's faded to completely white by now.
Gobbledydook (1389 D(B))
25 Sep 15 UTC
Nothing happens on the Moon, so the flag is still there. It is apparently faded to white now due to solar radiation.

God damned arrogant Yanks. Just because they provided all the funding, all the expertise, all the work, and took all the risks they have the cheek to think this somehow entitles them to mark their achievements with their flag? Sickening.

This sort of extreme imperialism should be stamped out at an early age. Next time you see a child on the beach smiling broadly as she puts a flag on her sandcastle, be sure to kick it down before taking her ice cream and redistributing it to the more deserving!
KingCyrus (511 D)

The flag is no longer standing. It was placed too near the lunar lander and when Armstrong and Aldren ascended back to the capsule, it was knocked over in the blast.

"it's faded to completely white by now." So the moon has gone from supporting the US to surrendering? Thanks Obama.

Honestly Octavius, I think giving the act a reason takes a little too much of the pleasure out of it

Can anyone confirm that 5-minute games do not start with the addition of the seventh player but instead start when the sign up period was originally scheduled to end?

Newbie Question
Hello, me and some office mates have just discovered this massively awesome game but we're quite intimidated by the level of skill that people have.

Is it possible to create a game with less than a full team of players, such as 5 man in the regular map. Or playing 10 man in the world map that says 17 players?
