Today a federal grand jury revealed evidence that the 1996 Olympic Park bombings were actually carried out by a disgruntled #2 Pencil that was upset it couldnt find a nice pencil sharpener to jam itself into. Enraged the blunt pencil vowed to destroy society.

It's the society's fault to frown upon pencil-sharpening with a knife. You may not find a suitable pencil sharpener for every pencil, since we are a society with varying types of pencils. As long as using a knife isn't considered as fine as using a pencil sharpener, you can't stop these attacks. Unfortunately, it's all about people's ideas and not easy to change at once.
