Heiter and Gheorghe Leonida celebrated together as the workers completed the Christo statue. As it towered over the city of Rio, citizens looked up and gave a sign of the cross as they caught view of it.

Heiter smiled. "Beautiful work on the face Gheorghe".
The two sipped from champagne glasses and shielded their eyes from the fading sun beyond.
A man began clapping and chanting behind them in a very awkward way.
He was an Italian in his mid to late 40s. Stocky, moustache, business suit and an ill favored look to his eyes. Dark, sunken and menacing.

"Very nice work you boys done here. Yes. Very good stuff. I got a question about Paul and Albert."

Heiter paused remembering Albert's death and Pauls sudden disappearance 11 years ago.

"We dont know where Paul is, we just assume he killed Albert", said Heiter. "And who are you anyway? a detective?" he asked.

The Italian laughed; "uhh no, just think of me as a uh… Absorber of information".

Gheorghe shook his head. "We just finished this beautiful project, can you leave us alone to enjoy this moment?"

A crowd of mobsters and thugs emerged from all directions. They drew weapons and beat Heiter to death as Gheorghe was restrained, screaming and begging for his life.

The Italian lit a cigar. "Nice statue. Too bad god aint real kid."
