I saw a comment about messaging with the bots. Is that allowed? Since they were bots I assumed this was gunboat. Thanks for clearing up my confusion.
Please don't do it. It crashes the site.

OMG this didn't go well at all ^^
3 draws :( I had a chance to solo with Russia. France had the upper hand and Italy had to attack him to block the med, which he failed and attacked me instead, Turkey eating my back while France should have soloed, but screwed the end game. T and It made a mess of an endgame.
While it was short of a solo win with England, A/I never failed their defense and there, didn't screwed up the Endgame... oh well

Q: do the bots learn? I mean do they get better, the more they play? I soloed with England in the practiced and their endgame gets bette.

No, they currently do not learn. They have had a change about two weeks or so though. Half the bots play slightly differently now.

Please Note:

For those who were eligible to replay their games against the new version of the bot, you can no longer start new games if you have not done so already. This is to prevent anyone attempting to gauge whether or not they need to replay to make the cutoff and game the system. The end of round 1 is approaching and scores will be tallied within a few days of the end of the round, and I will also distribute invites for round 2. Good luck.

Yes, it did. 10/2, 7PM CST. This was due to the server downtime, preventing us from playing games.
I still need to grind out my second solo..

And then a bunch of people with 2 or more games left to play.

79 people have entered the tournament so far. I was expecting more.

That is, there might be a bunch of people with 3 games left to play...

I soloed by first game effortlessly, and thought I was in a good spot. Then I got immediately defeated in my next two games and it wasn't even competitive. Oh well.

I am one of them. I getting absolutely kicked as a newbie when practicing. But I mangered to grind out a win in practice. Somehow (even if I entered three tonight), I think the top twenty are quite safe :)

I did great in practice... but it was 'luck,' often. I got slaughtered in the real game.
