Hamilton was town and I know I’m town. Are dr. Fid and ND scum together? Could the balki-sweet thing be angel theatre? If these things were true the Angels would have had an NK and either been blocked or held.

I think we need to remember that the MM is not a guaranteed role. At this point I think MM speculation is largely useless.

At this point I will argue that there is 100% chance there is at least one scum in Vecna and damo.

I was thinking, what if damo was mean machine but holstered because it was too risky to actually use it

I don't think MM would holster because Jamie has been very clear there will be no flavour to indicate who executed the kill. Town would not actually be able to 100% infer a kill was done by MM.

Lotta moving parts. just a brief glance over kak's EoD post and hearing damo was an early wagon makes my brain crinkle with D1 meme wagon gone wrong for one of the two sets of scum. But it's my off weekemd so I can burn the midnight oil tonight going over it myself.

This is pretty speculative on my part because I am not terribly experienced in Mafia overall, but... one time I was 3P, as Thanos in the Infinity Stones game (I think GMed by RagingIke?) and I was too afraid to use my power on D1 (which was activated by being on-wagon). I lost in that game and I realized too late that the right play was to go hard on my power. I am pretty sure this is the right move for the Angels here, too - a keystone of their strategy is to try to NK Judges.

This is just my theory and it is how I would play if I was an Angel. I think that if the Angels are crafty and smart players they will realize this could be a short, high-variance game and they need to get their MM power activated and used as much as possible. So if they DID get turned on last night, I think it is very, very unlikely they would not fire.

This to me suggests the MM was not a wagon (unless someone claims they were saved).

Anyway, that's enough mech talk. We are effectively re-doing D1 now, which is unfortunate, but we should follow the tenets of the Temple of the Frog God and go where our sniffers tell us the scum do be.

maybe there is a case for sweet being town after all. if he were able to kill someone who had been scumreading him he surely wouldve done that to at least get off a shot before maybe dying today. I think he wouldnt holster.

I suppose... but when is the POE not going to be pretty tight? And then if town gets the wrong person, it is possible that the MM is a counter-wagon and gets ANOTHER kill, and we get closer and closer to town losing. It just seems to me that I would fire if I was MM because not doing so is missing out on a chance to drive your wincon.

If you had been angel there, you wouldve been a complete fool to not shoot. like, you wouldve been weaponized by accident in the first place

At this point I'm willing to bet on the fact that sweet is WAY more varied than he was when he was scum in the other game worcej GMed. If he has done a major turnabout in his scumgame, good for him. But I would not kill him until I have more info to triangulate.
