Hi Chaqa,

I could do 24/12 or the standard 48/24. I do kinda need the phase changes all to be at a regular hour. 36 hour phases cause problems.

Anyone want 24/12?

Isn't 24/12 more problematic because it causes phases to be at weird intervals? Or maybe it works out better for the UK timezones.

32/16 here works out to like 10 AM/6PM which is nice for some.

48/24 works

Why not use instant night phases for a game like this? Just let the scum submit the NK during the day

That's an interesting idea.

I have a theory of doing a mafia game with NO night phases.

Day phase is 72 hours long
First 24 hours has certain actions that cannot be used
Last 24 hours has certain actions that cannot be used

No actions in last 10 minutes except specified ones.

EMC and I might go this route for M56/57. It will likely either be a 48/0 with full daychat or 72/0 with back-end daychat or something

SETUP NOTE:

In view of the representations made by Worcej and Vecna, I will be willing to run the game on a *Nightless* basis, with 48 hour day phases and *NO* night phase, with actions working as follows:

1. Mafia (of whom there are likely to be two members) will have an always-on daychat while they are both alive.

2. ALL actions, such as there are, will process at the end of the phase, but will be able to be ordered at any time during the day.


I will run the game like this IF both Worcej and Vecna confirm their sign up, and if nobody else objects to this approach.

Setup details to be confirmed by tomorrow.
