This game mode reminds me of Resistance/Avalon, which features a fail/success of missions as one of the information tools for the group.

In that game, sending the same people on missions is a high-risk, high-reward strategy. If your initial reads are correct, you can win the game early; if your initial reads are wrong, you won't know until later in the game, at which point it's too late to confirm your information.

With that in mind, I propose we use earlier powers to add people to our "if, then" chains, rather than using our existing chains to vet the information we have. If/when we're faced with contradictory information, we can use later investigative operations to validate claims.
