Number of Players: Unlimited
Phase Lengths: 48 hour phases, with a random mid-phase event.

Description
Sci Fi Simulator is a combination of pop-culture science fiction, role playing, strategy, colony management, and cooperation. The goal of the Sci-Fi Simulator is to work together with a group of councilors to create a self sustaining colony. Obstacles can arise, alien invasions, storms, famine, drought, and internal political strife. The objective of the players is to work together to solve the problems the colony may face.

Rules
1. Each player should be available for an amount of time equal to their characters involvement rating.
2. The colony will collapse if any of the following conditions occur:
a. the population of the colony falls to below 50
b. public health of the colony reaches 0%
c. Insulin runs out
d. food reaches a level of 0%
e. Morale reaches 0%
f. the colony is conquered
g. the players stop playing

(If a phase ends and any of these numbers are not resolved through legislation, the colony will disband and the game ends)

3. There will be no mechanic in game which encourages killing or harming other councillors. There are no secret wincon's or agendas which require you to harm your fellow councillors. The GM will not create any scenarios which require you to fight or kill fellow councillors. however, situations may arise regularly where a councillors life is at risk, or you may have to engage/kill an NPC.

4. Legislation is voted upon and submitted to a charter, or (supercomputer) at the end of each phase. failure to submit legislation officially can have dire consquences. There are ways to simplify your procedures.

5. Each player gets a unique role. you can die in the course of the game, and also rejoin as a new character if you wish. all characters will have unique abilities, and talents. If a character ever dies for any reason, whether it is an NPC friendly to the colony, or an active player character, the colony suffers a -10% to morale.

6. Occasionally these games feature mature subject matter so please be mindful of that.

7. The GM bases the game around the players ideas. If the players do nothing the GM will still create content, and provide the game direction much like a Dungeoun Master. If you are uncomfortable with non linear and non objective gaming, this game is likely not for you.

Chromotide : (Syromian)(Firefighter)
Atk 3 Def 2

Chromotide is a Fireman chosen for his physical health, strength, and age. For any major fires, he may spend his action to stop them.
(Passive) Chromotide maintains a very intense physical workout routine and spends much of his free time at the gym. He is a bit of a loner.

Gara Denison : (Syromian)(Cytologist)
Atk 0 Def 1
4 hit points
Gara is a scientist who has expertise in cellular biology. Her focus has been on the effects of Radiation on Syromian tissue, and the cellular decay from outer space travel. Gara may spend an action once per phase to study cellular activity.
(Passive) Gara had a miscarriage which led to a very emptional divorce with her long time spouse. She has given up on love and has chosen to dedicate herself to space exploration.

Alfred Kuhlman : (Syromian)(Music Theory Professor)

6 Hit Points
Alfred began his 35th year as a Professor by becoming the first Syromian to play a musical instrument in space. His return mission to space includes a directive from his fellow faculty to create the first Galactic University for the citizens of the new colony. Once per phase Alfred may teach another character how to play an instrument.

Criefflen Dorn : (Syromian)(Welder)

Criefflen is a brutish man with dirty hands and an unkempt beard. His personality tends to be full of dry humor and conservative undertones. He tends to favor Neo Social Darwinist beliefs that only the strong survive. Once per phase Criefflen can repair any damaged steel, metal or duranium.
Passive: Criefflen owns his own arsenal because he believes Aliens could come and attack him.

Vollpa : (Syromian)(Operations)
Atk 2 Def 1
6 hit points
Vollpa is a graduate of the Syromian school of TeleCommunications. Her expertise is the ability to bend frequencies and maintain long distance communications. Once per phase Vollpa may allow you to have an open channel regardless of conditions.
Passive: Vollpa has an implant which can malfunction. She can be severely hurt by EMP weapons.

Bothman Kolb : (Syromian)(Syromian Police)
Atk 5 Def 5
Hit Points 12
Bothman was a highly decorated MP. On his 31st birthday he was discharged for putting a superior in a headlock until the man passed out. When asked why he did it, Bothman replied that he was tired of being told what to do.
He was dismissed without pension and disgraced. Bothman applied for the mission and was accepted but it is uncertain how he was allowed to join.
Passive: (Hidden)

Julien Perns (Syromian)(Addiction Counselor)
Atk 1 Def 2
Hit Points 8
Julien Perns is a practicing psychologist. His expertise is in addiction and how to cope with it. Once per phase Julien may remove an addictive trait on a crew member.
Passive: (He is an addict of Glazeride, a sleeping pill)


Epiluer (Android)(Doctor)
Atk 0 Def 6
Hit Points 8
Epiluer is a robotic physician. They are able to diagnose and cure most ailments. Epiluer may spend an action to heal another character fully.
Passive: Epiluer is fascinated by Syromian emotions, and longs to become more like them.

Lhamran (Syromian)(Vice Chancellor)

Hit Points 6
Lhamran has played his cards well. Rising up as a young senator only a few years ago, Lhamran is beloved by both most political parties for his practical and moderate views. He tends to be very charismatic, loves golf, and is extremely popular among the cultural media of the time. He chose to be a front runner politically for the new colony and to join the mission. Once per phase, Lhamran may send out a message to social media. His followers will repost his message and if a post exceeds 3,000 reposts, Lhamran will earn the colony an additional 3000 credits.
Passive: Lhamran is glued to his device, and spends much of his time maintaining his cultural identity. His awareness of surroundings is -45%.

Gohlo (Syromian) (Pilot)

Hit Points 10
Gohlo was chosen as a top pilot out of the Academy. He has been lead pilot for 2 previous space missions and plans for this to be his last.
Once per phase Gohlo can engage a shimmy maneuver which dodges 2 rounds of enemy fire.
Passive: Gohlo has 2 teenage sons both about to begin college. His wife has chosen to stay back until additional colonizer ships travel to where the colony settles. She will maintain long distance contact.
Passive: Gohlo is the best pilot in the Syromian Air Corps. He is heavily decorated and has some political persuasion.

Peska (Syromian)(Botanist)

Hit Points 6
Peska has a PHD in Botany. The mission for Syro University Botany Dept. is to find a habitable world to plant seeds and create sustainable farms, and a breathable climate. Once per phase Peska may grow a plant from a seedling, or study a new plant.

Meeps (Mantian)(Sneak)

Hit Points 4
Meeps is a small mantis-like alien. He can get into small spaces and is very quick. Upon the horrifying discovery that women of his race eat their mate he chose to live an independent life. He often fears for his safety. Once per phase Meeps can go undetected and pass without a trace.
Passive: Is also a capable pilot, and gunner. Has extra arms and legs.

Forrester Tylan (Syromian)(Merchant)
Atk 1 Def 4
10 Hit Points.
(Backstory Hidden)
Once per phase Forreter can double the value of any credits you earn.
Passive: Adds +1 Luxury for every proposal he makes, as long as it is approved.

Pender (Syromian)(Pharm Tech)
Atk 3 Def 2
10 hit points
Pender is a licensed pharmacist. With growing insulin shortages the Syromian people hope to find new sources of medicine. Pender is one of the leading advocates for affordable prescription drugs. Once per phase Pender may improve colony Health +10% or add +1 to Insulin.
Passive: As long as Pender is on the mission the colony cannot fail due to lack of Insulin.
