If there was randomly no janitor Percy might still be town. If he's not he will still be NKd before he can use his power so he is not a sensible lynch today.

Of course he is not a sensible kill. Both you and Percy got a slight increase in suspicion for surviving N1, but neither one of you should be lynched in the next few days, it's ridiculous when your alignment will be obvious by day 6 or so and there's at least three other scum to find.

That's the most likely explanation, but why couldn't it be that Janitor was struck by Divine Presence?

I'm on the fence re a massclaim. On the one hand, the RB activates tonight + can nullify any useful n2 powers. On the other hand, a lot of people have already claimed.
