If there was randomly no janitor Percy might still be town. If he's not he will still be NKd before he can use his power so he is not a sensible lynch today.

Of course he is not a sensible kill. Both you and Percy got a slight increase in suspicion for surviving N1, but neither one of you should be lynched in the next few days, it's ridiculous when your alignment will be obvious by day 6 or so and there's at least three other scum to find.

Why do either of us make any sense as the N1 kills?
There are two mechanically cleared towns, and I'm building a decent amount of suspicion the longer I live. The best thing you could do is not have mentioned that you will Scum read me the longer I survive, telegraphing information directly to the scum team.

At first I was feeling out for what the doc should do, but then I became the lead wagon and despite there being no real pressure I thought I had to nip people's thoughts that I was scum in the bud. I couldn't garuntee I'd be back before Eod to be able to claim my role at the time. I did reveal that I was doc in the special phone chat, but didn't say I was Percy, and then ended up claiming the phone. If I hadn't claimed at that point the Mafia would surely have killed me without me thinking I needed protection, because the other Phone person was scum.

If I recall correctly brainbomb was actually talking to Vapour last time you said that. I was per usual really confused.

They have to get rid of you before you can threaten them (assuming you're town of course). They don't know for sure if their roleblocker and/or strongman (assuming they have one) will be alive by the time you become active and need to be dealt with. So yes, I expect you to die soon if you're town, and the longer you stay alive the more suspicious you become. (Same for damo.)

What I'm saying is pretty obvious, but you may be right that even the obvious is not necessarily obvious to scum.

However I oppose the selection of Tom Bombadil. He has openly stated that he wishes Mafia to become an invite-only game, in a manner which I consider unfriendly and unwelcoming to new players.

I would like to know how these tin-pot dictators were selected, and how demoncratic that process was, please??

Percy's iso is very scummy but I tend to agree with xorxes' assessment of the situation. Percy is doomed to either be NK'd or lynched. And even if Percy is scum, there are 4 others.

I feel like the fact that emc was steadfast in doing nothing despite all the heckling and wagoning and basically giving up, but then revitalized when they were not lynched, is indicative of being town... I think if scum!emc ducked a lynch, they would've been content and maintained their level of activity, rather than trying to switch on and play with the team.

I've got a bad vibe from damo. I still don't see damo having done anything to help town, and the claiming "mammal" thing is ridiculous. Somehow it seems to have been taken somewhat seriously... obviously there are only a certain number of mammals on the list, but come on... The last several pages damo has been discussing the implications of power roles, which... maybe it is a bias because I'm still pretty new to Mafia so I don't intuitively grasp the implications of certain roles, but it just sounds like filler.

Same reason I'm defending Percy. Besides their claims, I actually think they're both town.

@food I voted Jamie for 2 reasons:

a) his apparent ignorance of Vecna's death
b) to create a counter wagon to Percy which is imo a nonsense wagon

I switched because Jamie's reason seems highly plausible and I'm not really convinced he is scum though of course he might be.

I think Flash is a more likely scum candidate and my switch to him is a kind of 'punishment' for lazily jumping on the Percy wagon.

I will be surprised if worcej and bozo stay on the Percy wagon.

I think Chaqa was just a car joke in my mind and I haven't paid a lot of attention to them.

From their iso, this seems a painfully accurate self-portrayal:

I know I was dishing on meta before, but... is Chaqa normally this lurky? I don't want to be a jerk about someone's life stuff getting in the way or use out-of-game information to find scum, but I think Chaqa has posted just as frequently about what reasons they have for not being able to post than they have posted... anything that is not an excuse.

Examples of laziness: asks for a TL;DR on Percy instead of looking for information on their own... offers no substantive reasoning for rdr not to shoot them:

They had some short criticism of dargorygel and bozo really early on but that has petered off into absolutely nothing.

This pinged me immediately:

Brainbomb - brain is playing like he normally does. I can’t say for sure if I’ve ever played in a game with scum!brain, but to me he seems very much like his usual town self. I can’t say I’m in love with his word vomits and 100 posts per hour, but I do think he’s moderate to strong town.

...since brain is mechanically town (and it had been proved at this point). Granted I forgot Percy had claimed when I was doing an analysis earlier, but brain altered the results of the D1 lynch vote, which I feel like is harder to forget. That seems incredibly scummy or at least super anti-town to be paying that little attention to the game.

I also never got an answer about why Vecna interpreted Chaqa's reads as "forcing a townslip." Does anyone know what Vecna was referring to?
