Start Date: June 3rd, 2019 - Reasoning is I am moving, in a wedding, and a holiday weekend for the rest of May.
Phase Length: 48/24, phase changes at 2:00 PST/15:00 EDT/19:00 UTC

Setup: Complicated and in flux, so let's discuss now!

Town (X):
Judge (Twice per game, during the day phase, the Judge can target two players and those two targets are the only options for the day lynch. The targets will be revealed in a flavor post, but the identity of the Judge will stay hidden. Must be used 24 hours before EOD - to ensure everyone has a chance to move and gives GMs time to make the announcement/flavor. Any vote not on the two targets is not counted, but counts towards participation requirements in the game.)
Bailiff (Jailer role - Night Action is one that protects its target from kills, but also Roleblocks its target and also render its target untargetable by all other actions during that Night. Also knows who the Judge is, but cannot jail the Judge. Able to once per game execute a person they jailed.)
Cop (Night scans, reports back Guilty or Not Guilty.)
Medium (If lynched, the medium will reveal a targeted players alignment and role. If killed in any way other than a lynch, such as the mafia NK, assasin day kill, or jailer NK, the medium will reveal two targets[/u][/b].)
Reporter (At night, discovers if a target is home or not. If someone is doing a night action or is jailed by the jailor, they are not home.)
Vanilla Towns to fill out the rest

Mafia (5):
Assassin (One day-kill, also performs NK.)
Hooker (Roleblock. Becomes Goon if Assassin, Framer (if used) and Janitor are lynched/killed.)
Lawyer (in replace of Godfather. Cannot self-protect. Totally on-theme btw)
Janitor (One use hide of a NK. Becomes Goon if Assassin is lynched/killed. Janitor'd kill reveals no role information or alignment and will give nothing to the Forensic Investigator.)
Framer (Targets a player, they report back as guilty if scanned that night. Only will be used if a large group of people sign up.)

Some more elaboration:
  1. The Bailiff has to execute the person they jailed that night, so when they submit their order they would state they plan to execute that target.
  2. The Bailiff's target is also RB'ed, so if they jail the Medium, then their ability will not go off if they execute them too.
  3. If the Medium dies via a NK that is Janitored, their ability will still go off. It will just be some weird flavor...
  4. If the Medium is RB'ed and then NK'ed, their ability will not fire.

2 things:

Bailor is OP
Medium is OP

Bailor: a jailkeeper is pretty powerful. A vig is pretty powerful. Combining them into one makes a very powerful role. Consider splitting or removing the vig ability. Unless you are going for OP

Medium creating 2 townclears combined with like 5 town PRs can create too many mechanically cleared town. The Brexit game shows what can happen with too many mechanically cleared. And this isn't even counting any cop scans. In terms of balance and flavor, consider replacing medium with innocent child (ask if you don't know what this is).

A framer and a lawyer renders the cop very weak. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to keep in mind.

Two thunderdomes from the judge could have a serious impact on the game and create some less pure mafia game play. Some people love stuff like this, but some people do not, especially if you have the wrong people in the thunderdome. Consider making it a one time use or putting some restriction like you can't use it in back to back days or something.

Bailiff looks better compared to medium but medium really is OP.

Worcej: My offer to co-GM was genuine. I do however agree with people that the Jailor is OP with a killing ability.

Also you're going to need a carefully worked out ONI list. Who acts first, Hooker or Bailiff, for instance?

I want to have a little extra killing power, thus the mafia's one dayshot too, so I might just split Bailiff and add a Vigilante. I knew it would be pretty strong and would require rework, so for now no NK option for bailiff.

Medium can definitely be an innocent child. No issue with that one. Good flavor recommendation ;)

I wanted to make the cop weak personally, because of flavor, so thus framer and lawyer exist. Framer will only come into play if enough sign up, and I am also open to other suggestions instead of framer.

I want to have 2 Judge shots, so making them not be used simultaneously makes sense to ensure it can't just win the game in the end.

My ONI I figured was this:
1. Bailiff
2. Hooker
3. Assassin/Goon NK
4. Lawyer
5. Janitor
6. Framer
7. Cop
8. Reporter

Judge is during the first 24 hours of a day to execute. Day Kill would happen immediately (once a GM sees it). Everything else would be EON unless I am forgetting something.

I removed the FI because it seemed way to OP to me and would require a lot of specific balance to make it fair.

Darg expressed interest as well. I know you mentioned it first during M45, so I guess I'll leave it up to you guys. Now that you see the setup, would either of you prefer to play instead?
