Military Advisor – “Madam– I must say that the key to domination is to build the strongest military possible. Arm your men with large dull blunt sticks.

Cleopatra– “Should we sharpen the ends. Pointy things hurt more, no?”

Military Advisor – “No. Dull is better. Trust me – I’ve killed three men and 2 squirrels. I know what I am doing.

Cleopatra – “Very well. Next”

Economic Advisor – “Sir – if you plan on domination, you will need funds. War is expensive, and lavish lifestyles are a drain. Increase your taxes and cut spending that is unnecessary. We need everybody to sacrifice now so we can live lavishly later on.

Cleopatra: (now skipping diamonds across the river like stones) – “Everybody you say?”

Economic Advisor – “Well, not you of course. But everyone else”

Cleopatra(grinning) – That is what I thought you said! Very well. Next
