School for Umbrellas

#1 Post by dargorygel » Fri May 03, 2019 6:17 am

While usually I think that movies/tv shows should stick to their side of the aisle, and books to theirs...

I enjoyed both the graphic novel series, "The Umbrella Academy,"

but even MORE I enjoyed the mini-series by the same name.

Really? Netflix has been recommending it to me, but I didn't like the description. I'll give it a try, thanks.

It is a mini series or a series? I had been avoiding it for fear it was a show likely to be cancelled.

We might not like the same sort of thing... This is a better super hero sort if thing... Gritty, mystery, funny dark... Think Fargo not Deadpool.

It's a series I suppose... Because u can binge it seems in my head more mini... There is a cliff hanger ending that demands a second series... Who knows if Netflix will renew?

I liked Deadpool.. Not sure I've seen Fargo. Probably have seen the film.
