A Star Wars Thread

#1 Post by TrPrado » Tue Apr 16, 2019 6:53 pm

How do we not have a thread about anything Star Wars related after this past weekend?? A trailer launched for the most widely successful film franchise in history.

Also, The Mandalorian looks incredible and like it could fill the hole left behind after Game of Thrones ends. Disney+ may be symbolic of how evilly monopolistic Disney is, and I definitely feel it violates the spirit of US v Paramount, but I'm just excited enough for this show that I'm absolutely considering getting it when it launches.

Citing Sergio Leone and Akira Kurosawa sets up a very specific type of story and character arc that has so much incredible potential and I'm here for it. Written by Jon Favreau, directed by Dave Filoni, starring Pedro Pascal, having Werner Herzog on the cast, and all within the Star Wars universe? This just screams iconic.

Especially where he raises his staff and yells: "Pass you will not!!"
