Why do new post take so long to be viewable in the forum feed. They are immediate, if you go to specific thread, but the main feed seems to take time to catch up?

The home page feed updates every 5 minutes.

Honestly, no idea. That wasn't something I had any part in setting up. I assume that it has something to do with phpBB being an attachment to the main site as opposed to the old forum, which was fully integrated.

Is there an opinion to make the refresh rate faster. The lag is annoying

I don't mind it... perhaps it helps slow down 'mobbing' to react to annoyances.
