Throwing a game is an important part of the game. First as a threat, second as a an execution. Dont think you should have any bad feelings about your win. There were much worse wins in this tournament.

Indeed. Don't feel bad, Wusti. I'm basically in the running because of an NMR'ing player. And I tried throwing a game too, because people were attempting to eliminate me when they should've realized I was essential. Now, I wasn't successful at it because the other player didn't pick up I was trying to throw, but....you get the point. But generally I don't try to throw a game unless I have a plan B for getting into the draw somehow.

So, I think the best ones get a spot no matter what.

Another fun fact: I was just a sub in this tournament. I'm sure that if I was able to play all of my games from the start, I could manage 7 survives.

Yeah I suppose it is mostly good players qualifying. I'm still going to blame external factors for 770 not being good enough.

I think goldfinger already tried to exclude people with 7 finished games, but he may have missed some. I think trip for example already finished 7 games.

Whoops, yep my spreadsheet missed one of trip's games. I excluded those who had already finished, or needed more than 1 solo to get there.
