Than all of what?
Your questions imply you’re not thinking, and not trying to understand, just asking to ask.

Ghug says he doesn’t want to vote a new player during D1. You quote it to ask why he’s voting one now. You’re better than this.

Why did you choose Bonatogether and damo to vote for over Spartaculous during this sequence?
Ties, but work I don't like killing new players.

Where in this does he say he does like voting for new players exclusively "during D1"?
I said I don't like killing new players.

I didn't say I won't vote for new players.

Those are two key differences. Other factors gain more weight as the game progresses.

Seriously, here is a player who has told us that he is an experienced Mafia player on other forums.

He has not indicated that he has any problems logging in or posting.

Most of his posts, it remains, are about promising to post in the future, which he continues to avoid doing.

Jamie - I dunno, keep going back and forth, await more data, not fond of the way the RB claim was made
I was rolewblocked.

Before I could consider whether to claim, I saw Ghug claim roleblock.

I decided I should claim too.

You "do not like" the way I revealed the RB.

Please, tell me, how would you have done it??
How did my style of reveal cause you displeasure???
Why did you claim since ghug had already claimed. Wouldn't you have claimed regardless?

Ok, finally catched up and even have time to look a bit at VCA.

I think Bona and Sweet are town, can´t see they bussing this way the GF with planty chance to bail out. Until half and hour they are the only votes on Will and probably any of them moving out will kill the wagon. Then I voted and I know I am town. Then king voted, he need to cast a vote as he was on unvote, so it could be a buss. Same is valid for Worcej, Bunny and Ghug, so I am not giving a pass for any of them because of this vote.

I also believe Ghug and Jamiet RB claims as I don´t remember Mafia ever making a a fake RB claim here. The one that wasn´t roleblocked by BB is town, the question is which as I can see Brain Jailing both. Anyway, not willing to vote any of them.

I think both newbies are good wagons, for different reasons. Lord isn´t really puting any real effort and even thinking is a kind of a coin flip I don´t think having him at the end is a good choice. Sparta on the other side is playing but seems to be more focused in surviving then catching scum, which is usually a scum tell.

I also suspect Bozo because his play today isn´t what I expect from town Bozo. Picking small things from Ghug, being obnoxius and not voting isn´t his town meta.

Yeah, leaving after saying they would post a reads list is pretty bad. Still waiting on it. Not a scum read, but certainly unhelpful, whether town or scum. Please drop the list, I’m eager to hear your thoughts.

GM Note:

I will be at a Star Wars Unlimited tournament tomorrow during EOD. I will do my best to process in a timely manner between games, but I will ask you all to cease posting at the deadline precisely. I will try to get someone to help with at least that aspect of tomorrow.

Because when I saw the GM message, I was not sure whether to claim or not.

But then I saw Ghug had claimed, so I felt I might as well do the same.

Damo:

If you want to assert that I am lying about being roleblocked, do it.

Bring it on!

Stop skirting around the fringes of such an accusation.

Either accuse me, or drop it.

This is a fairly good town slip also.
No it is fucking not.
Is town!bozo usually this useless?

@bozo: has there been some irl changes for you?
I wouldn’t call him worthless, just tunneling randomly

He comes across as what I would expect from detective Bozo.

At this very moment perhaps he is being a bit annoying about a thing or two, but I don't understand why anyone would seriously vote him for it. I guess bunny is tunneled but I don't get rdr's vote.

You have posts I'm supposed to respond to?

I just recall you saying "scum" and "fake", etc.

If you have questions let me know.
sweetandcool wrote:

Okay, my assessment of this sordid affair:

1. Town has no reason to claim since it only invites angry retribution. New players are more likely to do this. Is damo really so remorseful that they would claim?

Scum points for damo.

2. Scum could and probably should stay silent. However, they have the option to try to earn town cred by claiming. Like such a bad play that they can't be scum.

Conclusion: while I can see town boneheadedly stinging Food, I think the choice to claim more likely to come from scum.

Maybe further analysis of D1 will change my mind or make me consider someone else to be a better candidate for the DK but that's where I currently am at.
can you explain this post
What about it?

If you are wondering why I am currently ignoring that analysis, it's because I am sleeping what I perceived as the common consensus that Town would claim the kill.

Consequently my conclusion was invalid.

And because my conclusion was invalid, I return to towning damo.
no, i don't care why you're not using it now. explain your thought process when you made it

Just checking, but we can link screenshots here, yes?

It would save me the trouble of linking Will's read list here and speed things up for me. I've reread this thread three times now and I'm not really trying to hunt for it on mobile.

<clipped>

While it was helpful of you to explain your process, at best it just kind of renders your D1 NAI (not alignment indicative) at best. Scum Sparta could just have easily chosen that strategy as Town Sparta.
I totally agree with this. I don't read anything into anyone else's day 1 chatter either. The only thing I get out of the day 1 play is that Will is gone, so everyone who voted for him gets a chunk of town credibility (you most of all as the wagon starter), which then makes everyone else (including me, from an outside perspective) look correspondingly more suspicious.
you should make a read

##vote kingof
In the words of Phoenix Wright: HOLD IT!
Don’t jump the gun voting for me.
Townreads:
Bona, Jamie, bozo, idk last slot, those are my 3 more or less clear reads. Maybe ghug? Rivera also looks nice, but not much d2 substance.

Scum read:
Dunno. I don’t like damos shot, but I don’t think it necessarily is scummy, especially with the claim. Though it’s very possible that damo is self aware enough that if they were scum, they could make the claim and go for town cred, knowing we wouldn’t go for the kill. Spartaculous I also don’t like too much. So between those two probably.
interesting
