What if I said I thought there were only 3 mafia and that I did not realize "Barrel Maker" was a PR?damo666 wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:48 pmOh yeah. Jamie and ghug exit towncore.
Thank you Bozo (though it doesn't town you ofc).

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Yeah, I did earlier. It's based on JustWill's treatment of him early in Day 1. Will makes a very unsupported snaptown read on Jamiet. It is the kind of thing that I think scum do because they know they are not wrong. It doesn't seem like something that someone does when they are pretending to be a real townie, and they know the person they are pointing to is not Town. When a scumbucket is explaining why a partner looks towny, early in a game, they are much more likely to have better reasoning.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:48 pmDid you explain how Jamie made your list without voting for Just?Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:45 pmFrom what I can see Day 1, these folks are very likely all Town. That's a lot of people.

The ghug and worcej votes in the last 5 minutes feel a little too late. If a person were JustWill's partner in those minutes, I see it about 50/50 that they jump on the bus or try to steer away from JustWIll. It just appears, based on my read, that a Will scum partner wouldn't have felt super secure that they'd be able to save JustWill at that point, so I don't want to put ghug or worcej in the town core.

You implied it confirmed they were on the same team, but not necessarily town. The jailer RB is completely NAI, so even if you assume one was RBed by the mafia, there is no reason to think they are on the same team.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:40 pmI mean, I guess because I feel like neither would RB anyone but the NK.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:31 pmWhy do they have to be on the same team?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:27 pm
This confirms to me that you are definitely on the same team.
And since ghug likes to play Mafia in such a predictable way, this means more likely Town.
Hmph, I don't like it.
It's possible they holstered the RB and one of them is lying and the other received brainbomb's NK.

Do you think that's possible?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:45 pmI took your first answer to mean you did not think they were both town, but I did not see how it explained why they could not both be mafia.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:43 pmHow many times do you need to repeat the same question after I already answered it?
I didn't think they were one the same team.
That makes one of them town, and the other one scum.
Do you require me to draw you a diagram?
Do you think Bona vs Just was scum theatre? Really?

currently catching up, so I'm not sure if this question is still relevant or if you still want the answer. If you do, it is as follows: I don't remember the exact reasons, I'll have to check back through the logs, but I do distinctly remember that the other tiebreak (damo iirc) didn't seem to have any really concrete reasons for suspicion (I remember at least 1 vote was from the very start of the day, with no reasons given at all). I'll elaborate more once I have caught up.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:03 pmWhat did you think the reasons for suspecting Just were?kingofthepirates wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 7:45 pmNot much time left, and I suppose I need to cast my vote. Will’s side has more reasons overall, so I’m inclined to go that direction right now. If no one drops anything, I’m going to

OK, but I think that could be WIFOM, Just knows not to be too obvious in pocketing town players as mafia.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 9:50 pmYeah, I did earlier. I was thinking that if either was lying there was a risk of having three RB claims, which would out one as Mafia.
I only considered after that statement why one (or both) could be Mafia without risking that sort of situation.
