06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello all, good luck!
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Russia, Austria, I'm taking alliances on a first come first served basis :-)
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm your man turkey. Dmz that ugly lake thing?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: lol sure. Italy, are you interested in joining us?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: I just want rumania, cool?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: I don't have a problem with that. What about Budapest?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: We'll figure it out when we get there but I am good at sharing haha.
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: England, can we civilly divide scandanavia so we don't waste time squabbling over it?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: hi peoples, peace, love and happiness to you all
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Germany, what can I do to make our openings peaceful? We both lose if we fight off the bat
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: how about that army in warsaw doesn't go into prussia and silesia and i promise not to bounce you out of sweden
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: fair enough man. DMZ prussia, and I would love DMZ silesia as well if you are agreeable.
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Turkey, Greece for me and Bulgaria for you, that makes a fairly amicable start, does it not?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: France, shall we divide our lands at our current border and at the continent break south of Spain and be happy neighours?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: I don't see why you'd need Greece Italy, you've got Tunis and Trieste instead.
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Hmmm. Rumors of war have finally reached Vienna. The first response is to fire the head of the intelligence service, since enemy plans seem fairly well-developed.

Meanwhile, though Turkey seems to have started this, I would point out that (a) the two of us have the least to gain from fighting each other, and (b) once Russia has Rumania & Italy has Greece, Turkey will have 4 supply centers and 2 "allies" with everything to gain by stabbing Turkey.

Instead, how about you neutralize Russia (Black Sea or Armenia), take Bulgaria (always yours anyway, so nothing new about that) and I will help you into Greece. Eventually you help me into Rumania and I will build armies moving north while you build fleets moving west. That way we have a built-in safeguard against backstabbing.
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Germany - It is not clear what France & England are up to, but Russia appears to be in a position to do both a northern & southern strategy at once. Trouble for me at the start and for you very soon. How about we agree to come to each other's aid if attacked by Russia? That would mean any entry into GAL, SIL or PRU would trigger a joint response.
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1901: I would not be so foolish as to invite the Austrian fleet to skirmishes in the Adriatic -- I have not the fleets to counter that and go about my business at the same time.

Thus Austria, at least a truce in our current border (and DMZ in the Adriatic) would be most agreeable to me at present.

Turkey, I find it rather funny how you claim that I "have" Trieste, since that would be a rather convoluted operation that I can never hope to undertake in 1901 -- and which would make things in the Adriatic less than favourable to my part, unless all my forces are invested in Trieste, which would leave me with little claim to Tunis and little expansion this year. Greece seems the wisest choice, and a fair division of the Balkans, don't you think? Come let us be fair and in fairness we may grow to friendship.
06 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: England - I'm prepared to bounce you in the Channel all game if need be, so you'd be wise to give it up now
06 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Good opener Turkey, glad to see we're on the same page.
