01 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: Turkey, at this rate, we will both be at war with Russia as it has a 2 unit lead on you and a 3 unit lead on me.

And how would I move my units away from Russia when I border Russia? :)
01 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1902: I have a little more faith in Russia than to immediately try to destroy us. I could be wrong but its still worth a shot. As for the movement you can try moving towards Italy.
03 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: So, now that Russia has almost as many units as you and I combined Turkey... are you beginning to see my point of view?
03 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: I understand you. I just had hoped we could all live happily together but it seems as though that might not be possible.
03 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1903: However, Russia seems to be playing defensively near us rather than what he is doing to the northern lands.
05 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: I have just taken over Italy in a bloodless coup. The senior members of my military staff are each pleading their cases with respect to next options. Any suggestions other than beginning to learn Russian?
06 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: France has but one less and he has an army at your door.
06 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: So I should learn French instead? Certainly easier than Russian. I have been assuming, though, that that army in PIE was on its way to TYR to support the attack on MUN. Care to clarify the situation, France?
06 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Turkey - I am not sure how moving into the ION helps you deal with the Russian threat. Austria makes some good points. You might consider a more northern focus and leave my poor fleet alone.
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Maybe I should learn French. France -- Can you clarify the situation re: army in Piedmont and now a new fleet in Marseilles? It seems to me you should be more worried about Russia (or maybe Russia + Germany?).
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: The army in Piedmont and the new fleet in Mediterranean are ther just to cover my back. I have no intencion to attack you. I've got enough in England, and now against Russia. If I were you, I'll try to stop the Turkish-Russsian ally.
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Russia, are you open to splitting AUS? I'll take Trieste, you take Budapest and eventually Serbia...although it will probably be in Turkish hands by then
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: France - Thanks for the clarification. I would feel much better, though, with a demilitarized Piedmont. It takes way too much of my attention with a French army there. Would you consider pulling it back this turn as your fleet sails?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Always troubling when a late arrival will outlast 2 countries
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: what are you doing with that boat in berlin?
06 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: just keeping an eye on your prussian army
07 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: France -- Still hoping for some comforting words, though I suppose the next round of moves will clarify a lot.
07 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Germany - I am a bit nervous about you moving south so aggressively. Are you sure you are not just preparing to be dismembered by France & Russia? Trieste may be a "bridge too far" for you.
07 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Austria - You are welcome. Even from a late-comer.
Germany - As I said, you may be looking the wrong direction.
France - Thank you. I owe you one.
England - I hardly knew ye.
Russia - Nice moves.
Turkey - Missed opportunity.
07 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Austria - Maybe too much to ask, but if you could manage to cut any support out of Albania or Bulgaria for a counterattack against Greece, that would be nice. We have more to do than fight each other, and hopefully can find some reasons to cooperate.
07 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Russia - Want to lay the groundwork for future cooperation by moving your focus to Bulgaria from Budapest? Turkey can be cut down to size pretty quickly.
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Austria - I can cut support from Bulgaria if you want to try for Rumania. Or you can support me in and I can return the favor in the fall.
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: I say we eliminate the germans, the english and maybe austria and then let's draw this game.
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Sounds good to me.
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Let's go ahead and leave Austria in if he does not self-destruct.
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: France -- Can I assume that Piedmont is still a DMZ?
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: BTW, glad to see an army in Marseilles and not a fleet.
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: If Austria takes back vienna from germany and makes no move against me, then I am OK with leaving him alone and letting him draw
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: A draw is much more attractive than defeat. I have no choice but to take you at your word Russia
08 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: yeah, go ahead and get back vienna, I won't attack you.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: What the hell was that, Italy?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: Which "that" has you confused? I'm picking up a Turkish center, contributing to the German demise and keeping half my forces home as we await a draw. Is that a problem for you?
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: I think he's referring to the boat moving to tyr.
09 Aug 12 UTC Spring, 1906: ...and the movemnt to Tuscany. It seems something else that "keeping forces".
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: France, how about you stop attacking Belgium and let me take Munich so we can end this.
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Kiel actually
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: It isn't a litle absurd a 4way draw? We've just started playing... why dont a 3 way draw maybe?
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: you and i are too strong in the north to advance on one another. You and I are both vunerable in the south to Italy. I can't get to Italy without going through austria and I cannot beat them both without withdrawing units form the north. You can handle Italy but only by withdrawing units from the north wihcih leaves you vunerable to me. We can both easily crush austria and italy but I as soon as we try the one who is getting the upper hand will turn on the other. in short, we have a stalemate or at least a mess that will take a long time to unravel. Draw and go start another game.
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: besides, I have the most centers so if I'm willing to draw then why not you?
09 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I agree with Russia's observation. As it stands now, Russia would "lose" the most in the case of a draw and yet it is willing to accept one.
10 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: It seems like it's time to vote for the draw ... unless we want to eliminate France first? That would be one way to get a unanimous vote on it.
10 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I agreed to it so I will abide by my words. If france doesn't we gang up on him.
10 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I expect he will. It occurs to me, though, do we need to wait until after build/remove phase so that England, Turkey & Germany are really gone?
10 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: we can if you want to make sure. We should. I got a draw where I had no SC's because they didn't wait.
10 Aug 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I think you are right. Until the phase is fully finished, there's always a chance could that Germany and France could get some of the pot
10 Aug 12 UTC Now we vote draw?
10 Aug 12 UTC yep.
10 Aug 12 UTC I propose this: If France consents to draw, he must do so now. If he does not draw, we withdraw the offer and fight until France is eliminated, therefore he can have no part of a future draw.
10 Aug 12 UTC Sounds good. Now I just need to choose between Mar & Spa.
11 Aug 12 UTC Thanks for letting me be part of the draw. In the end we all doubles what we spent. Feels like a small win to me.
