15 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Hello and Welcome!
15 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1901: It's the down side of an anonymous game, I suppose (and a long join phase) that Austria hasn't shown up yet (or has just been talking to everyone *but* me, but I suspect the former). Here's hoping he shows up, otherwise I'm going to lobby for a cancel vote.
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1901: The Austrian said that he hates pasta and abhors canals. C'est la vie!
16 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings everyone!
17 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 1901: Welcome to the par-tay ;-)
23 Feb 12 UTC Spring, 1902: Party in Syria! Last sailor to make landfall has to foot the bill ;-)
02 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1903: No builds at all in 1902. Unusual!
02 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Italian authorities have offered foreign aid to the independent province of Rumania. The Romanians eagerly accepted the Italian largesse, and are eager to join the growing Italian empire.

In other news, a French salesman peddling inferior leather shoes took a wrong turn south of Switzerland. Italian authorities have recalled their diplomat from Paris until the crisis has been diverted.
03 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1903: Extra, Extra! Disaster in the North Sea. English dingy overturns. Hundreds of rats lost at sea. Stay tuned for further developments.
09 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Breaking news! Kaiser Von Habsburg found impaled on a cucumber in his Balkan bathroom. Authorities are still investigating the alleged "shower incident" but neighbors are anxiously inspecting their gardens for additional missing gourds.
15 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Syria?! We're looking for a new Fleet Captain...
16 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Aye, a true "Ship of the desert" captain ;-)
18 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Italian authorities report confusion in Rome.
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hey all, the FRENCHIES are winning, in case you hadn't noticed.
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1904: I had noticed.
21 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: War has no winners, and the French wish to extend our wishes for a peaceful and prosperous future in Europe.
22 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: That settles it. Everyone can vote draw now.
23 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: It's a game not a war. The Frenchie forgot to mention that peace and prosperity would only come under total French control ;-)
23 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1905: I think that's just generally understood.
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: I don't get this. I stab Austria, and then Turkey, and now they coordinate moves against me? What gives, guys?
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Where's the love?
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: I think all the love is in Paris.
27 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: C'est la vie.
30 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 1906: I think love may soon be headed your way ;-)
03 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: I must say that this is the first game that I've seen 4 fleets flying the French Tricolor in 1906. Land ho!
03 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Vive la France!
03 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1906: Tomorrow we hold a mandatory session for England on how not to be a French doormat. See you there! ;-)
09 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1907: I arrived at the mandatory session and no one showed up. Sounds like just another lie from Russia ......third time this game! Amazing!
09 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Was the London locale too inconvenient for you? All the BIGS attended the doormat symposium. We can hold another one in Paris if that would work better. Best of luck with the emporer's boot polish ;-)
10 Apr 12 UTC Spring, 1907: Interesting choice for the Emporer this year. Who gets the knife in the ribs, England or Italy? Wagers anyone? The bookies have England as a 2:1 favorite.
12 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Do I get to bet?
12 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Sure, I already lost my shirt with the last bet.
15 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: I am going out of town for 9 days starting this Saturday the 21st, and will return Monday night, April 30th. Regular internet access will be unlikely. Would you all be willing to pause from the 21st to May 1st?
15 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yup...should get a turn or 2 in before then...just remind us when we need to hit the button.
15 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: If there is no objection, you could all vote pause now and I'll hit the button before I leave town.
15 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1907: Oh yeah....good idea.
21 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Thanks for the pause, everyone. I'm heading out of town today. See you on May 1.
01 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Are we back on? I've put my unpause vote in.
02 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Sorry for the delay guys; busy day at work today on first day back. Will get to everyone's press soon.
04 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Um…anyone know who Austria is IRL? Want to kick him for us?
04 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Thanks for the kick.
07 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Not sure what army you're considering keeping, but keep in mind Greece can convoy into Apulia or Naples...
07 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: LOL
07 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1908: Hate this interface
14 May 12 UTC Autumn, 1909: Whoever reminded Austria to get his orders in earlier, please tell him also that quitting is poor form.
17 May 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Dear England:
I sent this as a message just to you, but it bears repeating in public: Why do you have such a boner for attacking Russia? You had a perfectly stable border with you in St. Petersburg. He can't re-take it, and yet you empty the homeland and open yourself up to French aggression.

Once again you get zero builds, and France prospers. You have no idea how to play this game.

Love, Italy
18 May 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Dear Italy,
Thank you for the public message.

In the words the word of a wise man..........

BLAH

BLAH

BLAH

Love, England
18 May 12 UTC Spring, 1910: That's gold. And, the guy with 2 Sc's probably shouldn't rag on the guy with 6.
19 May 12 UTC Spring, 1910: Rome libre!
24 May 12 UTC Fine work, all. Glad that Europe will never again experience the horrors of the great war.
