30 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Can someone explain to me what zila's options for retreating are right now? I'm a little unclear on the retreat rules, but I don't think he can go to e.g. Sevastopol, right?
30 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: It is difficult to tell at this point, but it might be how they wrote the rules. Does John get a retreat phase, but his only available order is disband? Does it just give him this, because it would be the same as disbanding and then reinforcing Sev with a fleet, and he still has the option of disbanding a retreating unit anyway? I'm not sure, I need input from Zila.
According to the rules here though, http://www.diplom.org/~diparch/resources/rulebooks/2000AH4th.pdf, under section 4. Retreat and Disband Phase, you can't retreat to a province where a standoff occurred.
30 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: The options given were
Retreat | [empty combo box]
Disband
30 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: OK, so the game just doesn't assume your order, even if there is only one order available. No worries, hopefully everything is cleared up now.
30 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Also it looks like webdip doesn't allow us to destroy and re-build existing units.
01 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: OK, so the game just doesn't assume your order, even if there is only one order available. No worries, hopefully everything is cleared up now.
01 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: It reposted my comment when I refreshed the page. My apologies.
01 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: John, I don't see anything in the rules about disbanding units at will during the retreat phase, only that you are permitted to choose to disband instead of retreat. Can you point out where in the rules it detals what you are talking about?
02 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: Not during retreat. I was under the impression that it was possible during the adjustment phase. It appears, however, that this is not the case.
02 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: I am not a fan of the "Last Seen" feature that lets everyone know how often I check this page.
02 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: It's one of my homepages when I start Chrome!
02 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1901: What does it matter? "Oh no! He is checking really often!" I don't think it really matters. I just want to know when Italy will do his reinforce, so that I can see and start thinking about the state of the map.
05 Dec 11 UTC Spring, 1902: Italy regrets to inform you that _you're on the list_.
06 Dec 11 UTC Spring, 1902: Does that mean that I get in without cover?
08 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 1902: Data
19 Jan 12 UTC wtf, it's Spring 1906 already? What happened to builds and stuff?
19 Jan 12 UTC I guess there weren't any?
19 Jan 12 UTC Nathan retreated and disbanded right away, and Szabo built. You and I didn't get any change to supply.
