26 Oct 11 UTC Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:Hello to everyone, and good game.
26 Oct 11 UTC Spring, 2000: [Western-Canada]:Best of luck, everyone!
01 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:After having read a thread in the forum, I realize we forgot to tell you something. So here it is.

GaussCurvature (Argentina), lehobbitbelge (Ghana) and me (Quebec) know each other IRL. We joined the same game because it's more fun for us (and because there aren't so many World games), but otherwise do not make alliances/attacks for out-of-game reasons, I swear.
02 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Western-Canada]:Thanks for letting us know!
14 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [South-Africa]:With such pace, this game will go on forever.
14 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:Yeah :D
14 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:Yeah, when I signed in for this game, it never occurred to me that it would take 10 days for retreats+builds.
14 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [South-Africa]:Why countries, who missed two turns, haven't gone in civil disorder?
14 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Western-Canada]:That is really odd. Does it only count for Spring/Fall turns?
14 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Russia]:If they didn't have a retreat, or a build, then those might not count as consecutive turns.
15 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Western-Canada]:Well, that's annoying. I guess this year will weed them out, at least.
15 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [South-Africa]:USA and India also seem to be out of the game. Lucky neighbours.
15 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [USA]:do you mean "out of the game" as in not playing, or "out of the game" as in, unlikely to be able to maintain the position? as far as I know, I haven't missed any turns yet. And I did pick the 5-day game precisely because I can't log in to this more than ~twice per week.
15 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2000: [South-Africa]:Meaned "not playing". My apologises.
18 Nov 11 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:Looking for players on Orcs diplomates. It begins at 23h45. 10 min/phase, ancient mediterranean
18 Nov 11 UTC Spring, 2001: [Quebec]:He meant 11:45pm in CET time zone. So that means 30 minutes ahead of now.
Honestly, a physicist could remember that time is not absolute ^^
18 Nov 11 UTC Spring, 2001: [Ghana]:Sorry^^. 30 minutes at 50°N, +/- 100 meters high, at rest in Earth frame...
20 Nov 11 UTC Spring, 2001: [South-Africa]:Wonder how long this game will take. I bet on couple of monthes, you?
20 Nov 11 UTC Spring, 2001: [Europe]:oh yeah it could take like half a year...
20 Nov 11 UTC Spring, 2001: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Man, that is really long. Does anyone know how long a game of mail-diplomacy lasted? Must have been even longer...
21 Nov 11 UTC Spring, 2001: [Western-Canada]:I know that some of them lasted years. I've seen people talk about "that game from 1973-75," for example.
25 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2001: GameMaster: jklmnoPW3N was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
25 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2001: [South-Africa]:jklmno? Was he playing this game? Which country?
25 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 2001: [Russia]:I am guessing Pac-Russia because of the different bid amount and time frame.
30 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 2002: [India]:Took over India today, anyone wants an alliance?
30 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Quebec]:I do! ^^
Welcome :-)
30 Dec 11 UTC Autumn, 2002: [India]:Thanks, let's talk just you and me then...
22 Jan 12 UTC Spring, 2004: [Europe]:well those last few turns took just about forever...
02 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Western-Canada]:Hopefully the slowest players will CD, and the pace will pick up.
28 Feb 12 UTC Autumn, 2005: [Kenya]:News Flash: New ruler assumes control of Kenya. All channels of communications are open.
07 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 2006: [South-Africa]:Dear Europa, can you please push 'ready', so we won't have to wait for three days?
07 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Europe]:sure
07 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 2006: [South-Africa]:Thank you!
27 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Kenya]:Just wondering if everyone is still ok with the pace of the game (5 day phase)? I would like to speed it up a bit.
27 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Western-Canada]:I'd be happier with shorter terms. Perhaps an agreement to try to ready within, say, 3 days of each phase beginning?
21 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Europe]:yeah seriously this is taking forever...
21 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Europe]:did we really start this in November??
22 Apr 12 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Western-Canada]:Yep. Props to those who have stuck with it!
06 May 12 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Kenya]:Respectfully request Europe finialize his orders so we can keep moving along.
26 May 12 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Europe]:seriously Oz???
26 May 12 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Western-Canada]:Eh, he's just trolling us a bit before he goes. I've seen it before.
28 May 12 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Western-Canada]:All right, just 4 more days.
02 Jun 12 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Oz]:Sorry haven't been on. Got a real life to deal with.
02 Jun 12 UTC [Oz]:Happy!?
02 Jun 12 UTC [Quebec]:Well, let's draw, now, shall we?
