10 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1903: This game is afflicted - we've now got two no shows..... soft, if you're gonna sign up you got to front up.
14 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: This game is wack. France never submitting orders definitely created a vacuum of power for England and Germany.
14 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Russia - that's true, but wow - that must be the 2nd press you've sent in the whole game, counting the greeting you sent to me in Spring 1901. You havn't worked very hard to change your RT stance. You pissed off England by taking Norway, you pissed off Germany by building Fleet STP(SC). In short - you pissed off everyone, except Turkey.
14 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Nice speech ;)
14 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1904: Russia pisses everyone off just by existing, Italy.
19 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: Front page news! France - arranging a zombie like move - attempts to return back to life after he is dead. Try something new - move a Unit !! Talk about shutting the gate after the horse has bolted. Other players would rather that air was breathed into this lifeless body somewhat earlier :-)
19 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: er, and managed to file the move order, but not the Disband order.
19 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1905: I have never played in a Diplomacy game where France wasn't at least the first one to get the Iberian SC's.
22 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well, it looks like Austria and likely Turkey have left the game. A boon for some... but alas, not all. Sometimes I wonder why I bother to play this game online at all.
22 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: I completely concur.
22 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: I agree, and let me assure you that it is of no satisfaction to Italy to prosper under such unsatisfactory circumstances.
I would propose that we agree some sort of Draw, for all the other players that have played so diligently and valiantly. I want to see the leaving Nations at least eliminated first.
23 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: I suppose I can live with that
23 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: What do you propose for the final territory counts?
23 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: If we agree Draw then all surviving Powers share equal points and SC's is irrelevant.
I will take a 3 or 4 way Draw assuming that we get no replacements turning up.
23 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1906: I am fine with that Italy.
24 Oct 11 UTC Spring, 1907: Looks like it's game on again - maybe some people just have real fun weekends :-)
26 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: Given the further collapse of the Austria-Turkey position, I am still open to agreeing a 3 or 4-way Draw if this is the desire of other players.
27 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1907: I think a Draw is the best idea, personally.
28 Oct 11 UTC Spring, 1908: I'm fine with a draw
29 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: Austria refuses to go quietly into the night... that's the spirit!
29 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: :)
30 Oct 11 UTC Autumn, 1908: It also appears that Italy <3 Germany, and wants to help him stay in the game. Perhaps Italy is not as fond of drawing as he led us to believe?
02 Nov 11 UTC Autumn, 1909: Letter from Italy to Russia.....
I think you need to be careful of England's intentions if he intends to prolong the Game. The problem for you in terms of prolonging the Game is that England can probably capture a further 3 SC's from me, SPA/MAR and TUN - before I can find a stalemate line. On the other hand, in the Eastern part of the Board, I might be able to capture SEV.
You'll be sitting there with zero defences in your North - and England will soon be getting 3 further builds. The temptation by him to go for a stab in Scandinavia would be strong.
If you're sitting there waiting until Germany is gone - then I wouldn't hold your breath. I offered my word to Germany and I will continue to honour my agreement.
Regards, Italy.
03 Nov 11 UTC Looks like most of the "draw" votes are in... We're just waiting on Russia.
03 Nov 11 UTC Good game everyone and thanks for your participation. This game was played in a good spirit.
No thanks to the players of France, Turkey.
