29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: A bit like owning a slot machine.... :-))
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Now, if France and Rus could go CD, the world would be much better.
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Is this the elusive "trickle down economics" that Reagan spoke of???
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: No, he never played dip nor did Richard Nixon, but the Henry K did, said so in an interview in Time, I think it was time, back in the early 70s when I started playing. I was think of tinkle down econ in honor of Molly Ivans' quote about LBJ stopping by the side of the road to relieve himself. The secret service have their backs to him when one feels his leg get warm. "Mr. President, why are you peeing on my leg?" LBJ responded, "because I can."
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: That is great! I like Reagan but I do not think the trickle ever gets all the way down, except in your story, Austria!!!!
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: I lived under Reagan in california when he helped gut the best public education in the country and threw the mentally ill onto the streed to save money. He and Casper Weinberger also tried to get Katcup classified as a Veggie for school lunches and claimed trees causeded CO2. Good times back then.
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: If that is how you feel about Reagan, I just have to ask how you feel about Arnold???
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: I don'tt reallly feel about Ronnie since he left California(right after he left the 20 mule team borax show). I don't really care much about Arnold since California is a highly dysfunctional political being in which the minoirity sets the agenda in the legislature. The president I hate most of all was Nixon, though I came to admire his foreign policy skills.
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: He couldn't keep a secret though :-)
29 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: More later. Off to grade papers.
31 Dec 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Happy NY to everyone!
01 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1910: Happy New Year to each of you. May this be your best year ever.
01 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1910: It will start off well if you and France could NMR a few times in a row!
01 Jan 11 UTC Spring, 1910: Gelukkig Nieuwjaar!
03 Jan 11 UTC I gambled on Warsaw. I felt I had to do something. I am a little embarrassed how bad I played once we got to three. Great job. BESM & Pantalone!
03 Jan 11 UTC To the both of us, great game. I was very lucky and had some skill. I'm off to teach. I'll check in tomorrow morning(about 14 hours). Much luck to both of you!
04 Jan 11 UTC Two times a "surprise" BESM win over me (in anonymous games) withint 24 hours is a bit of a shocl, albeit not wholly uninteresting!! Especially in view of the Big Pot game still in its starting phases.... :-))
04 Jan 11 UTC ......"to the both of us".... (guess the little minnow France didn't deserve even a small compliment....? :-((
05 Jan 11 UTC Sorry, France. I was tired and just wanted to say good luck and well played. Two games? You were in two games? That's really strange.
05 Jan 11 UTC I believe you are kicking my ass in one game at the moment though.
