Spring, 1902: Well played Mr. Chamberlain
Spring, 1902: Your army in Picardy is in a bad way. I hope the can swim
Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Spring, 1902: Seems like German player bailed. am disappoint
Spring, 1902: England, please ready your moves
Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Spring, 1902: Hello, new Germany here. Looking forward to helping the game roll along! Will catch up on press here.
Spring, 1902: Welcome, as you can see, it’s going well.
Spring, 1902: Looks like we need some orders readied
Spring, 1902: I'm putting a hit out. Bring those Anglo fuckers to their knees
Autumn, 1902: Let's ready our moves and proceed
Spring, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Spring, 1903: new Turkey!
Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1904: france muted me
Autumn, 1904: Haha he muted me earlier. It seems he is uninterested in playing Diplomacy (which is all about talking).
Autumn, 1904: What am I supposed to do? You two allied against me. I'm screwed
Autumn, 1904: It was game over as soon as I lost Brwst
Autumn, 1904: Why pretend I wasn't being attacked first?
Autumn, 1904: The game is about communication isn't it? Change people's minds, make deals, talk to other countries, make compromises, offers etc. Muting is basically giving up though.
Autumn, 1904: It's also about truth vs lies, and distractions. I reached out to you, it was obvious England was full on anti-France from the Spring, and I got nothing in return. My real ally was also defeated too.
Autumn, 1904: Plus there was Italy as a possible ally, so why bother continuing the charade.
Autumn, 1904: Your strategy worked from the start. I made movement errors. GG. I'd rather not be patronized along with it.
Autumn, 1904: if you were a bit more convincing france, you could have convinced italy, germany, or me. never give up (cant say i always follow that sometimes i get mad)
Autumn, 1904: Fair enough, France. It wasn't my intent to patronize. Some games you just lose. It happens for sure.
Autumn, 1904: Italy, Germany, or you? So, you're saying there was a triumvirate. Wonderful. |
|
Autumn, 1904: @Eng Wanna know the real reason Germany's headed for a solo win? Because even if it's out of spite, I'm holding on until they take France themselves. Give up? I never gave up on making sure you lose.
Autumn, 1904: You've got all the time in the world to reconsider your position.
Autumn, 1904: Oh man, I'm so far from a solo it's not even funny lol. Just because I have the highest center count doesn't mean I can solo
Autumn, 1904: even though turkey has less centers i would say they are in better position to solo since they are in the corner. but maybe not
Autumn, 1904: How did I get dragged into it ? My quarrel is with everlasting Austria
Spring, 1905: You say quarrel, I say a lovers tiff
Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1906: turkey! if you attack italy we can three way draw!!!
Spring, 1907: Well played by all left standing. I've got my vote in.
My draw vote is up, my orders are readied. Let's see which happens first.
hey turkey i will support you across the stalemate line into moscow if you want
lesson learned - dont move london to wales, move it to york
and always keep a unit in north sea
In hindsight, yeah. Always prepare for a stab if you can. And I had no intention of stabbing you at any point through the game btw. It was just here at the end. I was worried I couldn't hold the line plus I was just over the game and didn't want to keep grinding it out for a few more centers. So I had to put a gun to your head, England to force the draw. Sorry about that. Overall a great alliance and a fun game of Diplomacy though! |
|
if turkey had been willing to accept my offer of sending him over stalemate line i would have done it, i am a very salty player when i get stabbed. as for holding the line - im pretty sure that as long as i didnt attack you, you can hold that stalemate line indefinitely |
|
Maybe so. But rather than risking it, I just wanted to end it.
maybe im mistaken but i dont think there is any risk. you have units all across the stalemate line, its not breakable unless i attacked you
An army in Venice means he takes Tyrolia. Galicia was EASILY taken meaning he can tap War and then Most falls potentially. And besides there was nowhere for me to go. I couldn't move up at all. Turkey and I evidently weren't interested in support holds while you and Italy fight in the western Med. |
|
munich - silesia - warsaw - moscow is a stalemate line. he could not push past that. i offered to convoy an army into italy so you could gain too
Well like I said, I was ready to move on from this game. I had fun overall and I enjoyed the game. Good luck in everyone's future games and hopefully we'll play again some time :)
Great game everyone I don't think England had a chance without Turkey support to be honest... |
|
gg everyone | |
if italy and turkey were willing to not try and get points even though thats how you are supposed to then sure |
