Spring, 1901: Good luck RJ! Not that you need it :D
Spring, 1901: I gave it away, didn't I?
Spring, 1901: So is it teccles or meme or teccle-meme?
Spring, 1901: I mean, when your team has the #1 FvA player on the site you'd be pretty insane not to put him on every game :D Unless you're planning to elo boost everyone else by just telling them what to do! This is Meme right here. Or is it Teccles? Muahaha |
|
Autumn, 1901: *counting the number of instances of the word 'insane' on meme's blog*
Autumn, 1901: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Hi all, I will be pausing this game now for our holiday pause. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy holidays, and see you on the 1st.
Spring, 1902: Sorry about the delay here, didn't get used to checking the site again after the holidays. Won't happen again! :D
Spring, 1902: np. You've got 3 excused missed turns, that means it wouldn't have been an NMR either way, I think?
Autumn, 1903: I feel like Anti-Alpine might have been a misnomer :D
Autumn, 1903: Question for you, do you think we have the Alpine rated too low on the tier list? It seems to counter both the Italian and the Porcupine hard. And here we're seeing it fare pretty well against the opening that's supposed to counter it! |
|
Autumn, 1903: I mean, AA vs A is definitely not a secure win for A. But I don't think any game is decided the first year.
Autumn, 1903: As for the rankings, I think the Waffle is better, but people know the Waffle inside and out. Here's a secret: when I choose openings, I usually try to pick an opening my opponent does not play themselves. If my opponent always plays the Waffle as France, then it'll be easy for them to see the board from my perspective, if I play the Waffle against them. If I want them to make mistakes, then I should put them in a position they're not used to.
Autumn, 1903: (I don't always choose openings like that, but most of the time.)
Autumn, 1903: It's difficult though, when you don't know who your opponent is...
Spring, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Spring, 1904: Sorry about that! Busy weekend. Have readied up!
Well played! This was a fun one :D
You're absolutely right that I'm really unfamiliar playing against the Tyrolia line. Teccles and I both actually!
Yeah, gg! What a year 1904 was.. |
