Autumn, 1906: If you guys are playing please input your orders, this current position is a really interesting one and I want to see how Russia plays it out
Autumn, 1906: In my unbiased opinion, I have no issue whatsoever with an AFK Austria during these final few turns ;)
Autumn, 1906: Mods told me to fuck off essentially so gg russia lol
Autumn, 1906: :'( | |
Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1906: oh we will have 24 hours at least, lets see if we get a taker
Autumn, 1906: To all takers: please don’t take.
Autumn, 1906: ;) | |
Autumn, 1906: New Austria ready to kick butt and keep the game moving along
Autumn, 1906: thank goodness!
Autumn, 1906: I see the name of the game is ‘For gods sake stop Russia’ I’m willing to play |
|
Autumn, 1906: appreciate it austria! good luck russia! hopefully this is fun down to the end
Autumn, 1906: Thanks Austria for taking over! Russia will have a hell of a fight!
Autumn, 1906: *Activating Anti-Cossack Defence Hussar Systems*
Autumn, 1906: Austria-Cyberdyne does not scare me! For the motherland!
Autumn, 1906: This is getting quite spicy indeed.
Autumn, 1906: Ruskies have reached the shores of the Atlantic! A sad day indeed
Spring, 1907: I’ll be honest, fellas, I’m beginning to really like my odds here ;)
Autumn, 1907: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1907: And another Austrian falls
Autumn, 1907: I'm not dead yet!
Autumn, 1907: LOL, welcome new new Austria.
Autumn, 1907: Hey Russia, you mind moving out of Trieste? It was kind of mean that you took it by force
Autumn, 1907: I suppose I see your point. But, on the other hand, it was also kind of mean that you didn't immediately surrender when you saw my armies approaching. It's not that I WANTED to use force; it's that you forced me to use force by not surrendering. Do you see what I mean?
Autumn, 1907: You know what, yeah, your right. I completely surrender all my territories to you except for Greece. Please don't attack now?
Autumn, 1907: Don't worry bucko; I don't need any of your other territories. Austrian Greece can continue to exist alongside Russian Austria and Russian Hungary ;).
Autumn, 1907: Can I keep my name??
Autumn, 1907: Of course! The Dutch East Indies were still called the "Dutch" East Indies after a certain angry mustache man yeeted the Netherlands.
Autumn, 1907: And you not call yourself Russian Austria or Hungry Russia?
Autumn, 1907: I wouldn't think of calling myself Russian Austria! On the other hand, "Hungry Russia" seems to be a pretty apt description, honestly.
Autumn, 1907: Italy: good moves there. It was ballsy of you not to cover Bulgaria, but your gamble paid off well.
Autumn, 1907: I figured you'd bounce yourself in Sev again, you were forced to cover. Think your moves in the north may be enough for now though since you aren't under direct pressure yet
Autumn, 1907: In retrospect, I should have had Black Sea tap Constantinople. Oh well.
Spring, 1908: Hummm... I like what I see southward. Sevastopol should be hard to hold which would open a breech. A draw stays possible. England, would vote draw? So we may tempt the devil... |
|
Spring, 1908: I, for one, second the French Notion
Spring, 1908: Uh oh, is this it?
Spring, 1908: You know, it’s funny, the thought of moving Burgundy to Paris never even occurred to me, even though that was obviously the right move in France. This has been a bit of a blundering solo attempt, but I think I’ve got it in the bag from here. |
|
Spring, 1908: You could just, not?
Spring, 1908: I did my best, I think I screwed up with a ship in the adriatic rather than sending one more over to the aegean so I could commit to attacking the black sea, but if it had gone on for one more year I would've had you... GG
Might be too few too late, even if I succeeded in throwing out Russia from Gascony,
And he guessed right on Yor or Edi, while I guessed right that a convoy was coming.
You guys played it well. France and England: trying to disrupt the convoy was the right move. Italy: I don't think the Adriatic was a mistake; the problem was Turkey's fleet trapped on the wrong side of Bulgaria. As long as that was there, you were never going to be able to break through to Sevastopol.
nah i can get through, just not quick enough lol
I don’t think you could; even if you got into Black Sea, my unit in Rumania could support-hold Sev. To break through you’d need to cut support AND attack Sev with two units, something that would be impossible with Bulgaria on the south coast.
GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
gg | |
GG all! You fought well.
I think the key moment for me was 1902. Unexpectedly getting both Denmark and Berlin on the same turn instantly made me the most country on the board, while France (the second-most powerful) lost a build. It also helped that the original England and original Turkey were both content to ignore me while I consolidated power in Germany and Austria.
GG all! | |
gg, congrats Russia! |
