29 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: With a name like FIG, it's gotta be good!....wait a second
29 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: What do you mean? I'm everybody's ally!
30 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Well that aged poorly.
30 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Never trust illiterate Diplomacy players, let me tell you.
30 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: That is interesting: France stabs first Germany, then England. Maybe the issues are not in "illiteracy". In fact, Nexus has a large international presence, I hope you did not imply you are racist (work against international players?).
30 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: That's not my intention, but I'm sorry that I implied that I would work against someone just because they're not a native English speaker. I'd like to reassure you that your press is uniquely annoying.
30 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Sorry for the public flame war, everyone. Germany and I will work it out.
08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: I guess all of us lowly countries are interested in a draw? What say thee mighty folk?
08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Sadness
08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: :'(
08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Greed is one of the seven sin. :)
08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: "Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee. Sink all coffins and all hearses to one common pool! and since neither can be mine, let me then tow to pieces, while still chasing thee, though tied to thee, thou damned whale! Thus, I give up the spear!"
08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: ^Moby Dick, for those not afflicted by the American public school system.
08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: "pew pew go-eth the harpewn"

08 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: ^no lie detected
09 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1908: New wave starts soon. Should we try to wrap it up? Italy, what is your goal? How many SC?
09 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: I'm fine to pick up the pace, but there's no reason to draw now.
09 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Italy can pick up Smyrna and probably Ankara if an army gets convoyed as a follow-up. Each of those centers are worth 4-5 points, so we're probably playing this to time.
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Can people fall any lower?
We will see, I suppose
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Yeah, man, I thought curling up in a corner a whining at everyone was gonna work, too. I'm shocked.
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: It's working so far for me.
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Ah, but you at least have a corner to curl up in. Germany curled up in the middle of the board to have a little pout.
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Clearly, the only great player here is France, we will all be impressed with his score at the end of qualifiers and how easily he will win the final. All of us are just scum for him. Especially Germany, who clearly will be last in qual table.
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: I have flux on my computer so I can't tell which of three different countries wrote this last comment, but it definitely could have been any of the three.
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Germany wrote. France insulted me in private channel and then muted me 3rd time in this game. As great players always do.
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Well, game has a hard time limit (till Winter 1910), so whatever anyone wants to do hs to be done by then. After which game will be drawn and then we can all get along and ♪┌|∵|┘♪ └|∵|┐♪
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: ♪┌|∵|┘♪ └|∵|┐♪
10 Sep 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: Unless something goes wrong, I'll put my draw flag up at the end of 1909. Because of a specific move last turn, Italy can take Bulgaria and Constantinople if we push through to 1910, though, so I expect that will end up happening.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: The end of 1909 is upon us. Should we draw? I saw nothing "wrong".
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: You're still alive, so no, I'm not drawing.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: you never tried for Berlin in 09, therefore it cannot be considered as something unexpected. You lied 100th time.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: but it is expected from racist.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: Come join me in the land of free (& dead ) souls Germany.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: I hope not to. Arrogance and racism (even if unintended) should not be encouraged. I helped England to stop the destruction of his country by French invaders. I hope it counts as keeping Germany in Berlin is a reasonable ask.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: You are literally worth more points to us dead than alive.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: the only score which really matters is Italian.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: ♪┌|∵|┘♪ └|∵|┐♪
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: To be clear, I've already messaged England on my stance, I'm pro-eliminating Germany for the points. And I'm not exempt, I assume that people have been asking Russia to eliminate me this game for the points. The difference is now it's gonna be hard to eliminate me, but it seems fairly easy to finish off Germany. Even Russia can lend a hand now :)
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: It's a few points for each of us, which matters for those of us in the middle of the pack who haven't soloed (Germany has, if you're wondering why he's trying to spike all your scores). Two or three points will jump each of us up a few places in the final standings, since Tribute causes a lot of clustering among non-board tops.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: France, to your xenophobic views you are trying to add disqualification from the tournament? How do you know who I might be? I never told you. If you were right, the only score which of concern to me (to be reduced) is italian. Why would I care if you get 11 (now) or 13.2 (if I'm dead).
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: Wait, how do you know that Germany has solo'd? This game is anon.
13 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: Look, France, make it clear to all that you want me dead out of vengeance, because I did not become your vassal to help you top here, and sided with England instead. Even since that turn you have been vindictive, swore at me at least 2 times, then insulted me additional several times in private messages. I'm happy to share it all as proof, but did not want to escalate. I respect Turkey's opinion about points. I believe it is all up to England here and I leave it at that: does he think extra 3 points (if he gets Berlin) worth it, or considering he could have gotten zero if France went for top, unless I helped is worth keeping me alive. In a way, killing me helps ALL (including France, which is counter-productive), but who knows who real competitor for the final table might be...
14 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: My dude, I quoted a lengthy passage from Moby Dick two years ago. I'm sure no one is confused about my motivations.
14 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: It would help clarify your intentions if you could quote another line or two...
14 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1910: I got u, Ishmael:

"Aye, aye! and I’ll chase him round Good Hope, and round the Horn, and round the Norway Maelstrom, and round perdition’s flames before I give him up. And this is what ye have shipped for, men! to chase that white whale on both sides of land, and over all sides of earth, till he spouts black blood and rolls fin out."
15 Sep 20 UTC Do we need to wait for retreats, or can we draw here?
15 Sep 20 UTC Finally we are done. Gg.
15 Sep 20 UTC I've readied my retreat, technically retreats do matter, because someone could retreat into a center. But that doesn't apply to this situation.
15 Sep 20 UTC Gg everyone well played
15 Sep 20 UTC Gg all. Italy, are you good to go ahead and enter your draw vote so the game can officially end?
