04 Aug 20 UTC Was Germany aware that winner takes all? This could have easily been a draw if Germany stopped fighting England (and later me) and got his units to the frontline instead.
04 Aug 20 UTC Completely agree. Germany, I would have followed you to the ends of the earth to get in a draw - I honestly don't understand the stab when it was clear Austria was in a position to completely take the south. I was even stalling Austria's advance at that point, but had to turn back.

I tried to leave you alone at that point, France - I understand why you may have held a grudge, though taking Edi from me was painful. After that in particular, I was determined to help Austria win.

Congrats Austria, well played!
04 Aug 20 UTC GG
04 Aug 20 UTC In retrospect Edi was a miscalculation. It was not clear to me if you were for a draw (in which case quick elimination would have been preferable), and I think I may have been trying to cut off support from an attack on North Sea.

I extended the game by a year with the Tunis-Naples moves, and Germany used it to take Edi, Nor and Spain while losing Munich, Berlin and SPT to Austria :(
04 Aug 20 UTC Good job Russia for surviving!
05 Aug 20 UTC Congrats Austria
05 Aug 20 UTC Your stab of me was brutal
05 Aug 20 UTC We definitely did little in the way of working towards a 4w draw... The fact we were only able to support each other once I already owned the French centers made your single fleet powerless against the Austrian southern flanks.

You win some, survive some. Well played Bob3251!
05 Aug 20 UTC Thanks, but I was kicking myself for doing a support hold of Warsaw and not attacking Ukraine the turn you took it.

GG. GJ to Bob!
