Was Germany aware that winner takes all? This could have easily been a draw if Germany stopped fighting England (and later me) and got his units to the frontline instead.
Completely agree. Germany, I would have followed you to the ends of the earth to get in a draw - I honestly don't understand the stab when it was clear Austria was in a position to completely take the south. I was even stalling Austria's advance at that point, but had to turn back. I tried to leave you alone at that point, France - I understand why you may have held a grudge, though taking Edi from me was painful. After that in particular, I was determined to help Austria win. Congrats Austria, well played! |

In retrospect Edi was a miscalculation. It was not clear to me if you were for a draw (in which case quick elimination would have been preferable), and I think I may have been trying to cut off support from an attack on North Sea. I extended the game by a year with the Tunis-Naples moves, and Germany used it to take Edi, Nor and Spain while losing Munich, Berlin and SPT to Austria :( |

Good job Russia for surviving!
Congrats Austria | |
Your stab of me was brutal
We definitely did little in the way of working towards a 4w draw... The fact we were only able to support each other once I already owned the French centers made your single fleet powerless against the Austrian southern flanks. You win some, survive some. Well played Bob3251! |

Thanks, but I was kicking myself for doing a support hold of Warsaw and not attacking Ukraine the turn you took it. GG. GJ to Bob! |
