21 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Damn good swimmers those Italians!
22 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ankara is an interesting place, a modern 20th century city built around two medieaval villages atop hills. The museum of Anatolian Civilisations is a must.
22 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: The depths of Anatolia would fascinate me. Unfortunately I've never crossed the Bosphorus.
22 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: That is also an experience. Ferry across the Bosphorus with the sun setting behind the blue mosque. I used to work in Liverpool but ferry across the Mersey is not really the same thing.
22 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Mercenary army in Armenia available to hire to the highest bidder.
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: How about this?
Leave Russia to fight in the North. France Army Marseilles I perils you.
Move Armenia to Smyrna. I will move Constantinole to Aegean. You slip fleets into Tyr and Ion Seas.
Next turn, autumn, we ferry your army to Tuscany or Rome.
I will not take Smyrna until you have an alternative base for it.
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: You do realise you've put this in global press, don't you?
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: No! ;-)
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: I've shot my security minister, if that helps! :-)
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Does everyone agree with my assessment?
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Just replied to the green writing! :-o
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Sorry Turk but you posted your comeback plan wide open in the global chat
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Very cunning of me!
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Either way, Napoleon, there's nothing even you can do to influence that event!
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: What a game! I feel like we are at the top of the rollercoaster. Very tense
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: When did you nip into Iceland?
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: I see North Africa is an oasis of calm.
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Yeah, it's interesting that Iceland is considered part of England with no historical precedent unless we go back to king Knut.
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: The guy who got his feet wet?
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm beginning to suspect that, based on the times these messages are being sent, that you are mostly Europeans? Either that, or ALL early risers here in the US!
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Early US here
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: I did get up early today here in the UK.
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Early US
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1907: UK
24 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Central European Time here.
24 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: So, only Italy is operating in its proper time.
24 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Lol
27 Jul 20 UTC So, with my recent acquisition of Finland I feel inclined to grab one more SC before I join the group in a draw (think I can still grab Sweden, sorry Germany). Once I accomplish this next round I’ll submit my vote to draw and we can bring this game to a close
27 Jul 20 UTC We can wrap this all up today if we ready-up quick and don’t use the full 24hour turn cycle
27 Jul 20 UTC How about the rest of us take out France and then draw?
27 Jul 20 UTC Hey Austria - nice to finally dialogue with you!
27 Jul 20 UTC good game all ;p
27 Jul 20 UTC That was quick!!! lol
27 Jul 20 UTC Was that a hint of panic from Paris?
27 Jul 20 UTC Thanks for the game folks.
27 Jul 20 UTC Surprised at the sudden end. But glad this frustrating game is over
27 Jul 20 UTC hahaha decided to get out when the getting was good!!
27 Jul 20 UTC I enjoyed it. Thought you might have gone for the win there, Russia. You were waxing stronger.
27 Jul 20 UTC Perhaps in time
27 Jul 20 UTC I can't believe that worked! Haha. Glad we could pull off a draw here.

I was certain Russia and France would realize they were the top dogs and team up for an easy late game. Maybe pulling in one smaller nation to be their buffer for a 3 way draw.
27 Jul 20 UTC Either way, good game all.
27 Jul 20 UTC Thanks, All of you. Interesting game. Would have liked a bit of waggle room!
27 Jul 20 UTC Well done France.
27 Jul 20 UTC Thanks!
27 Jul 20 UTC Yeah, a tough game for Turkey. I always thing Turkey has no natural allies so you need to play Italy, AH and Russia off against each other.
27 Jul 20 UTC It didn't work! I've done better as Turkey before. Italy similarly is hemmed in. Oh for the open Seas of France or England or the double front of Russia!
27 Jul 20 UTC I think the difference is that Italy has a natural friend, in my opinion, in Russia but games never seem to work out like that. It is also in AH's interest to be friendly with Italy. The problem with Italy is that these friendships usually benefit the other partner more.
27 Jul 20 UTC As Turkey I would always work with Russia is possible. Can be a strong combination especialy if recruit someone further west.
27 Jul 20 UTC Well the AH/I alliance was very effective in shutting T/R down.
27 Jul 20 UTC As Italy I'm always inclined to stick by AH. Turkey is AH's greatest threat in the medium term.
