31 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Saluti a tutti

May the nation with the best cheese win.
01 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Should any other empire prove capable of producing a grillable cheese, we will be keen to learn of it.
03 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: We will flood Europe with Stilton! Let the mold spread!
07 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Can someone make "King A" submit an order, urgently?
09 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1903: Can someone bump the english gently?
09 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1903: We must think. We don't take war lightly.
14 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: Perhaps people should be aware of this: if you 'save' your orders, they will automatically be entered when the timer runs down to zero. If the timer runs down to zero before everyone has saved (or readied) their orders, then the timer will reset and we'll have to do it all again. So it is a very good idea to save some provisional orders a good while before the tick...

Bearing that in mind: can anyone chase King A and mcm-cmc?
14 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: aggravating
14 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: Can no-one contact King A?
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: What happens now? Will the French armed forces automatically surrender?
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: I have no idea, I think we need a new player.
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: Would the austrian like to carry on playing?
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: Anarchy on the streets of Paris
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: [King A:

perhaps this King just doesn't understand the rules? Does anyone know him to talk to? He was *here* in the last 24 hours and didn't submit orders - if he doesn't want to play we can probably replace him.]
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: King A is an experienced campaigner but a busy man.
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: France has imploded and the game continues.
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: Understood. Wonderful news for the King of England, for the Kaiser in Deutschland, and for the Lord of the Seas in albion. Will france therefore have no units in the coming autumn? no units in the coming year?
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: My understanding is that the units will hold their positions automatically until being taken. I have instructed King A to attempt a log out, log in retry, but I assume he has thought of that. He wishes to rejoin but is being barred from it by the game.

Lets see if he can rejoin, if not, we could continue - or vote to draw if that seems unfair - although things like this happen quite a lot on webdiplomacy.
15 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: No, no, we should continue, the game is the game. I hope he can get back in - have you considered emailing an admin / contacting them on the forum to see what can be done?
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: This was meant to be less faff lol
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: This mini delay is still much faster than the other game tho
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: yes, but one player is now completely gone
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: In a meta-meta sense the French surrender is sort of ultra-realistic which I quite like to be fair
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: I guess static units are a bit like guerilla / commune resistance so ok
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: I guess static units are a bit like guerilla / commune resistance so ok
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: I guess static units are a bit like guerilla / commune resistance so ok
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: No reason why we can't stand a new game as well. Not very time consuming

in case you're interested nw if not
22 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1910: I think this game is getting to me. Last night I dreamt that we all cycled off a cliff together.
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1910: with three ships you will not be getting to cliff I'll wager
23 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1910: We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when.
24 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1910: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
25 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 1910: Whoops sorry
02 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: Is it over yet?
03 Aug 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: charmingly, for me, yes.
06 Aug 20 UTC After this next round it should be pretty even. I hope our alliance can remain for a thousand years
08 Aug 20 UTC hooray well done everyone
08 Aug 20 UTC Peace in Europe finally!
The parties in Rome and Milan and Naples will last for days.
09 Aug 20 UTC We did it!
