29 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm not suggesting new players are always a problem, just that they are more likely on average to enroll, sign up for a game, decide they aren't interest after all, and never log back in again.

I hope that's not the case, but it certainly looks likely. Why wait another four days to go through the 3 remaining excused turns, then look for two replacement players, when the game hasn't even started?
