26 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings and salaam, Effendis. The Sultan of the glorious Ottoman Empire sends greetings to all nations of Europe. By Allah, I swear we shall be just and fair in dealings with all of you. Come to enjoy coffee and baklava.
26 May 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Generous move to invite us over. I shall pass being afraid of my assassination while in the Ottoman empire.

03 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well, since we all have to wait again, shall we all take a moment to congratulate Germany on having a fleet in Clyde? It's always a fun game when someone goes to Clyde, it so rarely gets a look-in in this game. I always feel sorry for it. Least visited spot on the board.
03 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: We should note for accuracy that the fleet in Clyde is both owned and operated by the Russian Empire.
03 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: Oh darn, sorry I even managed to get the colour wrong. Damn Clyde so stupid small!
03 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: I was going to say something but didnt want that to be my first correspondence in this game. Now with that being said, thank you all for letting me join your game and I hope to be in touch with you all
11 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

AN ADDRESS TO THE FREE NATIONS OF THE WORLD

From the Court of the Topkapi Palace, in the Great and Most Holy City of Constantinopolis, the great Sultan Frankiethefrank of the Ottoman Empire greets you.

For several years now, Turkey has fought side by side alongside her Russian allies. We remain ever grateful to the Tsar for his assistance to our brave warriors in routing the Austrian hordes that were threatening Our great Capital. Nonetheless, it has never escaped the magnificent Sultan's notice that these same Russian allies had shown no hesitation in wishing to crush Turkey earlier, and ceased from so attempting only due to a falling out with their erstwhile Austrian allies.

So, too, and many times did our ambassadors and emissaries salute our ally the Tsar and humbly request that his Black Sea Fleet return to port in Sevastopol, and many times in return did the Tsar, from his throne in Moscow, issue assurances, promises and placations to us, assuring us that he would command his naval forces to do so, and allow the peace-loving Turks to breathe easy from the threat of sudden treachery.

Yet, the year 1908 dawns and, still, to our amazement, the Russian forces maintain their grim iron battleships on the very steps of the World's Capital, despite years of promises. How long can this brazen aggression be tolerated? For how long can such an insult to Turkish honour be allowed to pass? How long will the humble Turk, living his life in peace on the coast of Ankara, cast his weary eyes over the fearful spectacle of the hulking, ironclad destroyers of the barbarous northern Christians, anchored only a few feet from his own shores?!

NO LONGER!

From this day, by Allah, the Sultan has decreed that the Ottoman Turks shall no longer be in thrall to the Russian Bear. Know, then, O ye free nations of the World, that from this day onwards, Turkey is a FREE and INDEPENDENT STATE, and we shall take all necessary steps to ensure and secure our safety and prosperity on the shores of the Black Sea. We seek no further conflict with Russia, but shall not tolerate for one moment longer the presence of the Crimean Pirates that plague our shores.

Peoples of Europe: hear Our words! And send your ambassadors, to pay homage!

Signed,

- Sultan Frankiethefrank Han, Sovereign of The Sublime House of Osman, Sultan of Sultans, Khan of the Khans, Commander of the faithful and Successor of the Prophet of the lord of the Universe, Custodian of the Holy Cities of Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem, and Caesar of Rome.
11 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Amazing, bravo. I wish I had that much time
12 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Lockdown, man. What can I tell ya.
14 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Germany, as the Guarantor of Peace in the Black Sea region, we invite you to take notice of the following agreement between Russia and the Ottoman Empire:

For the 'disentanglement':

This turn:

Rum -> Bul (Via convoy)
Bla CON Rum -> Bul

Bul -> Rum
Ser H

FOLLOWING TURN:

Rum -> Sev
Ser -> Rum
Bla -> Con or Ank
Alb -> Ser

Do you accept your position as guarantor to this agreement?
14 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1909: I'm glad to help guarantee this agreement, and I look forward to ending the game with you gentlemen.
16 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: That draw button looks awfully nice right about now
16 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: If it was sum-of-squares I think I'd hit it
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1910: Russia again shows treachery and deceit, not only failing to move his Rumanian fleet back to Sevastopol, as he had undertaken to do, but now his forces also attack the brave defenders of Serbia!

The Ottoman People demand satisfaction!
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1910: It looks like you're helping the wrong 2 countries
18 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Sultan, there is no explanation for your orders the last turn. You attacked Spain, and you moved to Tyrolia. Luckily for you, Germany and I are going for 3-way draw. You cannot demand anything.
18 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Take Mars now and let's end the game.
18 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: No explanation?? Other than simply maintaining my security, you mean? I didn't break any any treaty provisions, Great Tsar, and wished only to maintain my sphere of influence. I was right to do so - as I suspected, Germany's fleets are massing at the Straits of Gibraltar, and all the peace-loving peoples of the Mediterranean fear new aggression...
18 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Like, nice meme, but let's clean mars and end this
19 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Turkey, I understand why you were scared, but you kinda had one job.
19 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Last year
19 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Russia could go for the win but he is settling for the draw. Looking at the positions it could happen.
19 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: The Russian fleet seems to have lost their maps, they still can't quite figure out where Sevastopol is...
20 Jun 20 UTC I just want to point out that was overkill lol. Now since I'm gone you guys can draw
20 Jun 20 UTC hahaha
20 Jun 20 UTC Yeah we draw in the next spring
20 Jun 20 UTC Hey, I tried, cant fault me for that
20 Jun 20 UTC I certainly cannot
20 Jun 20 UTC What if I say please?
20 Jun 20 UTC Can I get the draw for brownie points and being a good sport?
20 Jun 20 UTC That's true, he did stick around the entire game instead of going into Civil Disorder
20 Jun 20 UTC Yeah but I want those extra 3 points
20 Jun 20 UTC When I knew my fate was sealed I readied up and was trying not to slow the game down
20 Jun 20 UTC I do respect that as in many games, when a country gets backstabbed, they purposefully prolong the game out of spite
20 Jun 20 UTC This is the problem with Draw-Size Scoring.... but I'm down for giving France a few points too. Cus I'm all heart. And besides, the Beneficent Sultan is known for his generosity.
20 Jun 20 UTC Russian Tsar is too... but not to minor powers. Good game everyone!
