22 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hi
22 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hello
22 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hello there!
22 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Holo
23 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
25 May 20 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: hey everyone
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Russia has had yet another glorious Revolution after the... tragic loss of the Imperial flagship at Rumania which had nothing at all to do with me honest
27 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Sorry your game has been... Stalin'
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I see my predecessors were extremely incompetent
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Can we please pause this game until Sunday? I am going out of town for the next two days, and I don't know whether I will have an Internet connection when I arrive at my rural destination.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I am fine with that.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: All good for me
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: My goose is probably cooked so the sooner this ends the sooner I can move on lol. But if everyone else wants to pause it that's fine.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: It's only for two days, until Sunday. I am sorry if this is inconvenient for you. I just don't want to miss any turns.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I don't mind at all, real life is important ^^;
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Well we've had several delays already. Now we are going to delay it another 2 days? This game is going to take weeks lol.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Don't all Diplomacy games take weeks?
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Besides, we have only had 3 days worth of delays thus far due to inactive players. Another 2 days won't hurt anyone.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Only? Lol we've had more delays than moves that have actually gone through. And England is about to make it 4 in 30 minutes here. Sorry, I don't mean to be difficult but I'm not going to vote to pause it.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: :(
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Please don't be a sore loser about this.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Au contraire (see what I did there?) my German friend, I'm a very willing loser who wants to meet his demise sooner rather than later.

England is about to get the boot anyway for yet another delay at which point a new owner will have to join and then vote pause. Let's see if that happens. If so I may join you all in voting to pause. Cheers.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I don't think expressing concern about time makes you a "sore loser". But equally, I don't think online diplomacy is ever going to be quick, and with any correspondence game you're going to have some random long delays
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: For sure. That was a very diplomatic way to put it haha.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I agree with Russia. I wouldn't quite say "sore loser," perhaps "impatient," but not "sore loser." That seems like a prerogative. Also, France, is it really that big of an issue if someone has life to attend to and can't make it? What would you do if you were in Germany's position? Do unto others what you would have them do unto you, right? What good is it to play a game and not treat the people you play with with the same love you would like to be treated with? Without that love and kindness, you can have the world, but still lack everything.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: *claps for Russia's very polite way of satisfying both sides*
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I think I've been plenty patient! I'm not mad or anything, he can call me whatever he wants it's just a game! I just don't think I want to pause the game is all. It's a cutthroat game after all, I'm not sure why I should grant him any grace. He has afforded me none lol.

Sorry but we all knew the rules when we signed up. He still has a delay left after all.
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: will you vote pause now france
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I don't think the "cutthroat" rules of the game should apply to the meta of the game. I considered Germany's suggestion as that of any random person, not of the Germany player per se. But you're well within your rights not to want to pause ^^;
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Oh hi England lol
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: your timing is impeccable
28 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: :)
29 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I would like to say that as per the rules of webdiplomacy, votes to pause must not be used diplomatically (i.e. for the judgement of future alliances). I believe the intention there is that votes to pause are for personal reasons, not game-related reasons. Therefore, I would argue that it is against the intended nature of webdiplomacy to withhold a pause due to the game's "cutthroat nature."
02 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1903: If two units bounce in a province, is it possible for a third unit to retreat to that province during the Retreats turn?
03 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1904: No
07 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
09 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1905: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
13 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
