01 Jul 20 UTC GG all. @Russia - got a little tense there in 06/07, but I’m glad we understood one another.
01 Jul 20 UTC Gg, well played France/Russia/Turkey.
Germany, I was a bit baffled by your complete reluctance to attack France early on while their backdoor was so exposed to you. Felt like a wasted opportunity for a G/I alliance.
Austria it was a shame you suicided into me to let the Juggernaut flourish - you were defending well up until A03. I get how you assumed they would be fighting after A03, but it was obvious after S04 that they both intended to move West. But I suppose you have to take some risks playing as Austria, being surrounded on all sides.
01 Jul 20 UTC @Italy
Don't put an army in Tyrolia with a backfill army sitting in Piedmont if you don't want war with Austria.
01 Jul 20 UTC That's fair, it was a desperate attempt to communicate with Germany.
04 Jul 20 UTC Good game and well done to France, Russia and Turkey!
Germany, i totally understand your single-minded and determined effort to destroy me from the first builds, but if you're going to do that, I'm going to do my best to make sure my SCs go to someone else and not to you, and then spend my dying moments trying to ensure your demise, too.
Russia, thanks so much for your support: i was particularly grateful and surprised by your offering two supports back into Holland and I'm sorry it was wasted. My aim was to always hit Germany when i could, so i was hoping you might support me into Denmark but alas this is gunboat and we can't read minds ;)
04 Jul 20 UTC It was the least I could do after you helped me with Kiel. Plus a backline raider is always worth their weight in gold, so I was also keen to keep you alive for selfish reasons. I was thinking whether to support Holland or Denmark, but failed to pick up that you were specifically targeting Germany. Oh well, maybe next game. :)
